  Wonderful place for staying

  We were advised by friends from UK who stayed in this hotel last year, to visit this hotel. And thanks to them we had nice time. About hotel Hotel rooms are clean and very comfortable. Service /room service is excellent. Kids enjoyed swimming pool,and playground. Staff is veryhelpful,speak English and Russian .

  Service is really bad.

  We checked into the hotel on June 13th and the room was really nice. We got a suite, which was nice and spacious. However the service is really bad. They only gave us 2 large bath towels and there were 4 of us. Never gave us fresh once again. We were there for 5 days. Also never replenish the amenities. We didn't have many shampoo or body wash, when I asked for more, o was told that there is a charge for it. Also, I forgot my hotel key in a car and asked them for a second one, as they only give you one. I was told that there is a charge for it. We had breakfast every morning there, not a great variety. Also, you don't know who works there, was their staff does not wear any uniforms or name tags, they just wear regular clothes. We went to the restaurant for dinner and waited for over an hour for our food. Everyone around us got their food that came after us, I feel they forgot. When my husband mentioned to them about the time, they didn't seem to care. Overall, rooms are nice, needs some updating, I would.not stay there again bc of their service.

  Amazing stay...sparkling clean n friendly staff..

  We stayed at odyssey residence for 04 nights...amazing Experience n value for money...excellent breakfast included in the price...good n clean pool n rooms were sparkling clean...I definitely recommend it....the owner Vildan was v.nice n approachable n made our stay wonderful...

  Real bad

  Arrived at hotel, was given a standard room instead of a suite to which I had booked an payed for. I complained about this an got nowhere for the first day. The manager asked to see my paperwork then preceded to say its wrong, I eventually phoned my holiday company, who sorted it out. I have since heard they always give you a small room first then make you pay extra for the right room, I met a very elderly couple who said the same thing, and they paid the £250 extra, for the suite that they had already paid for! Its an apartment complex so you can have family and friends whenever you want,, well you cant, its not allowed, even though in Turkey this is against the law to say no to this, I asked my brother who was staying down the road round for s cuppa, the manager stopped us at the entrance an wouldnt let him in, my brother said why not, its an apartment, not a hotel. That fell on deaf ears, my brother went on to say this is s very bad place and was going to give a bad review on this place, the manager went mad. We left quickly an got in my hire car, the manager came out shouting an screaming, an came towards the car, he pulled the door open hurtling abuse, my brother stepped out and the manager started pushing him around, only when a taxi saw this an jumped out an stopped him, we shot of quick, Ive never seen this sort of thing in my life. I went back about 4 hours later an packed up my belongings an left. I felt absolutely shocked about what happened, my wife wouldnt even come back. I was advised to go to the police, but I refused as I didnt want all the upheaval of it, we just booked into another hotel. Its the worst place Ive ever stayed in. Now the rooms, when we finally got our suite, self catering, there was one cup in the place, no plates, no cutlery, no frying pan, just one sauce pan. One knife, no forks! No cooking utensils at all, it was a joke, no remote for the tv, so you couldnt turn it on. We had a toast holder, but no toaster, room was quite dirty, the tv is not 82 like advertised, its about 20.. we did have really good WiFi connection, suite is quite large. You really cant go self catering in this place, there really is nothing in there to use! overall this place is disgusting, Ive stayed in one star places in Africa and they outshine this place, 100 times over! If you see this place I suggest you keep going, pure filth. I have never left a bad review in my life, but I just have to warn people you will have the worst experience ever if you go to odyssey residents.

  Well Run Apartments, with Friendly Staff

  I asked for upgrade to an apartment by the pool. Apartment was very clean, maid service was provided daily. The hotel had been fully sanitized due to Covid-19 prior to re-opening. Sanitizers were everywhere, and staff practised social distancing. The complex does not provide food, but there are a variety of eating establishments within easy walking distance for all budgets. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. I would like to single out Riza Berk Varol, the barman; he is a font of knowledge, very intelligent and extremely polite and friendly. He is a credit to Odyssey Apartments. Really enjoyed the stay, would stay there again.
