  Nice place

  A regular spot for me to stay the rooms are kept tidy and have full facilities if you want them. The hosts are really friendly. Cleaning staff open all the windows in your room when they service them, this is ok until youre in one of the rooms by the smoking area, my room smelt of stale smoke when I was there from people smoking outside and the smell drifting in.

  Quiet and modern.

  The best thing about this motel is the black out curtains. I had the best sleep ever and woke up late which was just what I needed! The shower however was hard work. Almost needed a step ladder to climb into the bath to have a shower. Not ideal for older people or people with injuries - and I had neither! Great little kitchenette, desk, table and large lounge. Even though its on the main road, its very quiet at night. Opposite the hospital so its very handy location.

  Last Minute Booking

  Had to travel to Hastings for an emergency and was able to book into this Motor Lodge at late notice. We were going to arrive late and the proprietor left our room open and also put the heaters on so the room was nice and warm on arrival.

  Awesome facility

  We booked several rooms for a Family event. The hospitality from new owners Dayle & Mike was fantastic. Friendly couple and we even met their adult children who were helping out too. Rooms were very clean, spacious and had everything we needed including aircon & Sky chanels. We will be back !!

  Worst two night for our getaway.

  With other guest being completely inconsiderate of others in the complex with loud late night parties till 2am and early morning (0615) loud conversations outside in the complex, the Owner / Manager who agreed we had a terrible time, only offered a couple of sorrys and a What couldve I have done Absolutely made our get away a nightmere. Will never stay there again.

  Home away from home

  Perfect location for our needs. Friendly staff, very accommodating. Premises were clean and comfortable. Located on a busy road but found traffic noise was not an issue. Few minutes walk to shops. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend

  Lovely place to stay

  This motel exceeded my expectations - it was lovely, modern and clean at a reasonable price. Good size room with a spa bath. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Excellent servicing of the room. Good location, pretty quiet even though its near the hospital.

  Have stayed more than 4500 room nights around the world.

  The total operation here is not professional. They seek credit card details over the phone. A security no-no. Pay a cash deposit to their bank and then have to cancel and they do not refund your deposit of $300 they simply convert it. Do not reply to emails. Dayle the host is a somewhat strange operator. A definite no-no here

  Family Christmas 2023

  We were welcomed like family. Spotless unit well presented, the accessible unit facilities were first class. Very comfortable bed and the daily service of the unit was great the staff even folded our clothes that had been left on the bed. Will definitely be booking here next time we go to Hawkes Bay.

  Eagles conference

  Excellent hosts are Mike & Dayle . Unit very clean, tidy & serviced everyday. Unfortunately the bed was most uncomfortable & needs replacing. Suggest they contact sleep systems. My partner was a bed maker and these beds have expired. The spa was smaller than expected which is what I was looking forward to the most. We couldn't fit in it. Its unlikely I shall be returning
