  Spacious apartment with stunning views over Darwin Harbour

  My wife, 2 daughters, son and I visited Darwin over the Easter break, and spent 4 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment at the One30 Esplanade. On walking into our apartment were delighted to see how spacious and modern it was, and were amazed by the stunning views over Darwin Harbour. One30 is across the road from the park that borders the harbour, and is a short work to restaurants and shops. Although we traveled in the one car we were pleased to see that 2 parking spaces were provided for our apartment. Apart from the night we did a Dinner Cruise on the harbour, we had our evening meals at the apartment as the sunset view over the harbour was spectacular from both the dining table and from the table on the large balcony. The One30 Esplanade was a wonderful base for our Darwin experience!

  Great Apartment, Fanstastic Views.

  This is the second time staying here. A pretty major glitch with the booking as they cancelled it two days before we arrived. I had called and asked them to take the first night and I'd pay cash on arrival but NO.. they tried twice to take the full amount on my visa (that has a tiny limit) and then decided to cancel with no contact made to tell me. Lucky I read my emails while I was holidaying or I would have rocked up with family in tow and no room. Had to stay in another hotel for one night and then move into 130 then night after. Have no gripes with the accommodation. Its big, clean, fantastic view and amazing location. Did have an issue in the gym. No kids under 16 allowed. I thought hey! he can just sit down and watch TV while I'm in there. But No... a kid hating pensioner who professed to be on the body corporate committee tried to hunt me from the gym because my 10 year old was sitting in the cool of the gym and not outside in the heat like he wanted me too. There were several signs that said 'under supervision' and most that said NO kids under 16 allowed. But a bunch of ROT. You pay $300 + a night and have to put up with that discrimination. Can recommend the apartments as they are very good. Just watch out for the grey Nazis.

  Great location, a bit let down by small things

  Me and my husband stayed here with two friends for a weekend. We found it to be a comfortable, modern apartment with plenty of room, in a fantastic location with great views right on the Esplanade. It's walking distance to Mitchell and Smith St, and the Waterfront if you don't mind a longer walk; we had a car and found the underground car parking very convenient. The pools are nice for a quick dip, if a little small. Sadly One30 is let down by a few small things that, if they were fixed, would have made our stay so much more comfortable. The wifi did not work at all during our stay, and despite someone from reception coming to look at it on our first day nothing got fixed. The kitchen is huge with lots of drawers and cabinets, but barely anything in them that you might want for a holiday stay: no water jug, no platters or large plates for serving, no salad bowls. Only two dishwasher tablets were provided for our five day stay which was a bit stingy. There was no hair-dryer in either bathroom, which was hugely inconvenient, and only two towels were provided in the master ensuite meaning my husband and I only had one towel each for 5 days (apartments are only serviced/cleaned on a weekly basis). I'm sure that had I gone to reception and asked for more towels, or a hair dryer, I might have been provided with them, but that's not really the point. It's also worth noting that reception is located a few minutes walk around the corner at the H105 Hotel, so it's not all that easy to just pop round and pick things up. Overall our apartment at One30 was a great modern place in an excellent location, and the staff were friendly in all our interactions with them, but the accommodation is slightly let down by stinginess.

  Not impressed

  Great location Cleanliness of room - Poor, found a fake nail on couch and hair tie from previous guests. The veranda has broken glass and someones old chips and chewing gum there. The fan switch was broken slept first night with no fan room aircon was poor quality. The tilts in the main living absolutely disgusting. They did not even check over the finished work the floor was so sticky shoes stuck every time we walked. Foxtel was not connected correctly they had put both ends of the HDMI cable into the tv - seriously. Called reception about all the problem there was no apology at all!

  Great view over Darwin Esplanade

  We stayed in a 3 Bedroom Apartment for 8 nights. The apartments are huge, and we all had plenty of space to share the common lounge areas and balcony, or find a quiet spot for a bit of solitude. Great gym area on the ground floor of our tower block (4) and two outdoor pools to choose from. A great place for families with teens. Free parking in the underground secure car park.
