  Nice place, Worst Breakfast Ever

  It is a very nice place. Comfortable, attractive rooms, wifi and air-con worked. Bathrooms OK, some would complain, we thought them fine. Glorious setting. Exactly a 19 minute walk into town ( with kids) which is fine. We had a car, took the hotel's free shuttle in, walked back. Unfortunately this place is massively let down by it's disgusting, health hazard of a breakfast. All cold, except the tuna mayo and processed spam sandwich, which was at room temperature. I'm vegetarian, I never received any breakfast at all. We're persuing a refund through Agoda. Very disappointing as this place is quite expensive and we booked it as a "treat" something a bit more up market than our usual backpacker guest houses. Pic of breakfast uploaded. I'm a professional traveller, a travel writer, I don't complain lightly, this was extremely bad.

  Great till breakfast

  We spent a night here in a lovely room. The hotel was set in beautiful grounds and only a short walk into town. The hotel shuttle is available if you want to use that. The room was spacious enough for our family of four. Unfortunately the included breakfast buffet was a disaster. It wasn't actually a buffet as they couldn't be bothered to do one. Instead it was a warm Ham, Tuna mayonnaise sandwich with a cold egg and sausages. Totally unedible and quite likely a health risk. Numerous attempts to ask for new hot eggs and toast where met with blank stares and a reheating of the cold egg. The owners have a great hotel but need to manage it. Leaving a couple of kids in charge was simply terrible.

  I will introduce this place to friends

  It's the second time I spent my holiday in Pai. This hotel was impressing with nice staffs and peaceful location. Breakfast is good. The young man at the front offers a complimentary shuttle the short distance to and from town. We rented scooters a few days in, because they were so cheap. Great time!!!

  Beautiful big rooms

  The Pai Panalee is a really awesome place to relax with a great service. A free shuttle service to the city is also included. The Room we got was really big with a lot of space and all was clean. The price is absolutely appropriate for the service you get.

  Overpriced and poor service

  This so called boutique hotel is ridiculously over priced and the service was very poor. We chose this place due to good reviews - also about the service level - but the staff was so incompetent that we are wondering if the management has changed recently, as the service was really a joke. Our room was big and the porch was nice, but the front door did not close so mosquitoes had easy access and the bathroom was one big plumbing disaster. Breakfast was also a disaster and managed by a couple of kids who had no idea what they were doing.
