  Old and run-down - but a GREAT location!

  We stayed in an ocean-facing unit on the 15 floor. The room was just as advertised: small, with a double-bed, working fridge & stove, table and chairs. It had a small porch with plastic seats for two that overlooked the beach and the ocean. The location is excellent. The view is excellent. The beach is excellent. And the pools looked to be in great shape (though we didn't use them). 5 stars. But - the rest of the experience was sub-par. 2 stars. Here is a list of what we found: - The room, hallways & balcony all smelled like weed/pot. - Toilet ran constantly - Microwave handle was broken - No paper towels or napkins - No pizza cutter or large knives - No hot pads (clearly: we heated a pizza and had a hard time removing it from the oven, cutting it and cleaning up afterwards) - Lamp with a broken switch (unusable) - Front desk staff was not quick to help, but stayed in their office until called to the front So: you get what you pay for. If an old, run-down place with a bed to crash, a great view and access to a wonderful beach for an affordable price is your thing - this might be the place for you!

  Way to start the Holidays!

  The Palace is an awesome place to stay. The location is awesome, close to everything. This was our 3rd time staying there, and it was great. Hot tubs galore, great pools, beachfront what more could you want. We are from Florida, so yes being by the beach was good but our real reason for being there was to see the shows in the area and enjoy the awesome restaurants that are there. We always go to The Carolina Opry which I highly recommend, their Christmas show was amazing. We have already checked the schedule and will be back in March and yes we will be staying here at the Palace. Each one of the rooms in the resort is completely different because they are owned by different owners. We have had a great view with all three stays. Two were directly facing the beach the other was an angle view. This time was interesting because of no so many people. We truly enjoy being there no matter what time of the year.

  THE PALACE a great and memorable vacation in my life !

  For the 2nd times I have visited the palace luxury resort. Undoubtedly this is the most beautiful resort in Bangladesh. First time I stayed in the building called tower. And the second time in a cottage room. It was more exciting than the tower. Because the atmosphere is so calm and cool. Its located in the hill side area. And you can hear the sweet cricket insects sounds there. Hot tubs galore, great pool, and the bar, everything is excellent. And the helicopter ride was awesome. I was never ride with a helicopter before. Thats why it was more exciting for me. The only fault I have found that we had to wait for a long time for the transportation baagi. Otherwise everything was very good. The stuffs were very helpful and courteous. Especially Oaled at the bar. Hope to stay this mind blowing place again.

  Nice stay

  Stayed here while my grand daughter had a cheer competition. The reviews were mixed but we didnt have any issues. Room Was clean and casino was smoke free which was really nice. We got desserts out of the bakery after we did a little gambling. Delicious!!

  Room was clean, but there was used wash clothes in the shower so I'm not sure the it had been clean, I didnt see any housekeeping service to get trash or get fresh towels, and there is not a indoor pool
