  We wanted a weekend of endless water views and that is what we got.

  I looked at a lot of the apartments as they are all individually owned and decorated. Some had water views from both levels and some just from the bedroom level. We chose appartment 25 and were thrilled with its outlook, decor and comfort. Unfortunately it would be difficult to stay there if you did not have your own transport. The one downside is that if next doors dishwasher or washing machine was on you would here their pipes. However I'm planning to go back and stay in the same appartment, we had a wonderfuly relaxing weekend and I highly recomend it. The self catering was great, we bought local seafood and had bbq breakfasts. The wildlife was spectacular, everything you want from an Aussie holiday.

  FANTASTIC VIEWS, VERY RELAXING WEEKEND

  We stayed in Unit 30 which was fantastic. So relaxing sitting outside over looking the ocean!! What makes this resort are the Managers. Vey helpful with heaps of information about the island and great suggestions where to go, for sightseeing and dining.

  Weekend away

  Went to Straddie for a weekend away and had a great time. The hotel is site with awesome views of the ocean. We had a unit where we could lie in bed, see and hear the ocean. It was idyllic. The 2 bed room apartment we were in was spacious and well appointed if in need of a little TLC. The kitchen had most things you would expect in a self catering unit. Would recommend.

  Bit Run Down. View made it worthwhile until apartment next door decided to have a party.

  Thought view was great and were happy to accept the run down feel to begin with as just wanted to sit, relax and enjoy the view. Then. Front blind was broken, exposing our living space to all who passed, front patio door did not lock leaving us unsafe.....owner occupier neighbors decided to have a party in front of our patio - right in front. Spent the entire Saturday with curtains closed as they stood drinking outside our window. No view now. Site manager was not really bothered. Did not know about the party, but knew it was a 63rd birthday. Work that one out! Seems to be one rule for those who pay and another rule for those who own and do not care about those who pay their mortgages for them when they are renting out their units. Will not go back.

  Exceptional villas 29 overlooking an amazing view of the ocean.

  Villa was very clean and more than spacious for two adults and two kids. Felt quiet and private also. Decor was quite dated and some fittings could do with replacing. Kitchen and bathroom absolutely fine and well equipped. Exceptional villas 29 overlooking an amazing view of the ocean. Judy was welcoming and very helpful. She offered a late checkout as it was a quiet period.
