You simply get what you pay for
Pera Arya Hotel is situated in a very convenient place. It's only minutes away from Istiklal street. Our room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean, too. Usually these two items are the most important things when we are looking for a hotel. Location and cleanliness. Well, Pera Arya has got both. But the rooms are a bit small and they haven't got any safe boxes for your valuable belongings. But fortunately, we didn't lose anything. Breakfast includes the basics. Two kinds of cheese, coffee and tea, tomatoes and cucumbers, olives, boiled eggs, cold cuts, and bread. They sometimes have simit, too. But there's no fresh fruit or borek or hot pastry. The breakfast room is small and sunny. But some of the plates and dishes are chipped! The staff are kind and helpful. They speak English and if you ask them for something, they will try to help you with it. If you are going to spend all your day outside, shopping and sightseeing and you're only looking for a quiet place to rest at night, and you don't want to spend a lot, well, this can be the place for you!

Bad service
We were in Pera Arya hotel for 3 nights. It had internet in rooms and good location. But, the room was so small for 3 person and the beds were placed so tightly next to each other. So, there were a little space to put our luggage or even walk!!! The breakfast was so usual and if you wanted water, you should have take it from a reservoir which put on the ground. If anything was run out, we had to inform the person in charge to serve it by ourselves. The receptionist could hardly speak English. Overall, I do not advice this hotel to anyone.

Do not stay at this disgusting place! Unprofessional and not pleasant.
Before attending this hotel i had tried to book through booking.com but due to banking issues couldnt therefore, i bad called the hotel from London to find out daily price which was told to me 250tl per night. Anyway eventually i booked and made a reservation requesting to pay at the door. So on my arrivall i was told 300tl per night. They added a totall of 200tl of profit for the sake of it. We was greated in the worse possible most unprofessional way. We sayed in a room which stank of sweat, cigarets and just looked dirty. Pictures are definetly a deception. The door lock was broken, toilet lighting broken, towels were stained. What more can i say. If only i was to know the area better wouldnt have stayed a second longer. Just an extra note, on my leave while waiting for the taxi people would walk in to get prices and the same man who argued with my self and ny cousin prices being 300tl was now telling people 225tl per night. Worse and last visit here.

Bad Hotel
I was traveled this hotel alone, and they gave me one room for single, when I saw the room i returned immediately back to the reception for ask an another room. The receptionist said hotel is full an no chance to change. Room was about 10 m2. and I explained him that i have panic attack, and I have to change this room, no reaction, not interest. Luckily i have another friend in the hotel, i slept in her room. Bathrooms was molded, dirty,hairdryer was broken and black, and very small..Room was smelling cigarettes from previous guest, wall was dirty, air condition was to loud and view of the rooms was wall from next to building. Breakfast room was very simple and not so much choice..The breakfast lady was very kind and helpful. The only thing in this hotel was location, all other things you can forget it.

Unpleasant but good location
This was my second trip in this hotel.the location is very good , near to metro and istiklal street.the price is acceptable. But very unpleasant and not freindly stuff. When i arrived to hotel , the tour agency had reserved the rooms but had not paid the hotel fee yet. The recieption didnt hrlp znd with z very bad manner told we give your roons to somdbody else and you should go.it needed only 2 hours to pay and solve the problem. They didnt clean the rooms during 5 day I stayed there! Fixed breakfast without any change with bad quality cheese and sausage.
