  cheap, great location, many improvement from time to time

  this hotel is cheap and have nice location. from time to time i visit this hotel, and i see many improvement around. although sometimes the receptionist seems arrogant haha. but almost all staff there are nice.

  Beautiful receptionist Ms. Silvia Cherin has a good response to provide the best service to her guests and her comfortable hotel. this hotel is cheap and have nice location. from time to time i visit this hotel, and i see many improvement around

  Supernatural Activities at room 441

  We just got back from a short weekend in Medan. Actual photos looked nothing like the rooms we got at Level 2 and 4, and we were all utterly disappointed. The corner room that was occupied by another couple on the same trip encountered supernatural activities. Foot steps on the wall were heard which they initially thought was from my room (my room was just next door) but it didn't make sense as the sound came from the other side of the wall facing the road and since they were the last room down the aisle it was strange. Clicking sounds or what also sounded like someone grinding their teeth could be heard halfway through the night. They decided to take out their amulet for protection and everything seemed fine for a few minutes before they heard a loud sigh in their ears. We gave a feedback to the staff and they apologised for the experience. I assume it's a common occurrence. Not expecting any form of compensation but for those who are more sensitive to such things, I suggest you stay somewhere else or ensure your room looks and feels clean.

  Excellent location for a stay in Medan

  Hotel Polonia has been my first choice hotel to stay whenever in Medan. Its ideal location is paramount not forgetting its comfortable rooms which can easily fit in an extra bed if necessary. It certainly has been refurbished compared to the time I first started staying at Hotel Polonia. Its F&B service showcases a fantastic spread of food and drinks including deserts during its Buffet Breakfast every morning with added value of its ever-so-polite staff...always wearing a smile. Infact the moment you step out of your taxi your are greeted by a friendly concierge staff. What attracts me most is their Reception staff. Very, very friendly and always willing to accomodate your every request. One person who stands out in this is Miss Ayu..what with the smile that she puts on to welcome you. I had the experience of arriving a bit too early and rooms were not immediately available. But Ayu sorted out that problem for me and my friends by offering a solution. Ayu is certainly an asset, I would say, to Hotel Polonia. Infact she could be an Ambassador for the Hotel...always having a ear to your problems in the hotel. Thumbs up to Polonia and Miss Ayu.

  An average service

  during my visit here, i found out they haven't set up a single towel in my room until 17.00 PM, the room is a fair clean, the television channel blurry in every channel, not include the very very poor wifi as attached not even 0.5 mbps on speedtest. The food is quite good, but the service is slow. The check in process fast. Room 506 Need a serious improvement on facilities
