  Give Sheraton Sable Oaks a miss during the pandemic

  Strongly dont recommend staying here during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most high contact surfaces (door handles, business area computer keyboards and mice, doors, elevator buttons) arent cleaned more than once a day. Upon arrival my in-room table was sticky and the seats were dirty. The front desk wont give guests complimentary bottled water like other Marriott. Like other Sheratons, the rooms are stocked with Starbucks coffee pods but this location only offers guests powdered creamer. Worse, there are ridiculously high prices for items in the hotel store and no vending machines. it would be smart to bring your own disinfectant spray and Clorox wipes to clean off your rooms door handles, toilet, and faucet because mine were all dirty.

  Love it

  Love hotel. They follow all covered regulations. And they also plunged my toilets they turned down and the air conditioning in the fitness center when I wanted to go to the fitness center they did everything that they could at some great album and

  Fun and enjoyable time

  It had been awhile since we stayed overnight at a hotel because of COVID. One night we decided that we just want to "get out" so we went to Portland Sheraton at Sable Oaks. It was an enjoyble stay. Our some was beautifully designed and the staff at the check in were personable. Our time at the restaurant "made our night!" It was so much fun aside from the food being delicious. Mary gave us some recommendation for appetizers and they were excellent. Our meal was as well. She was a great resource about what was occurring at the hotel and in the area. Mary and Emerson were both engaging to talk to and made the night enjoyable. It is obvious that they love their job. Stop in to see them. Mr. Palmer, supports his staff to and is a gracious manager.

  Best COVID-19 Management We've seen so far

  This Sheraton adds some smart, easy COVID-19 steps that other properties, including at least one other Sheraton I've stayed at, can't be bothered with. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and doesn't reek of corporate plastic-smile training manuals. The Front desk supervisor is a bushy-tailed huge squirrel that makes checking in feel like visiting a really good friends' place.

  Disrespect to US Military Members

  My two sons enlisted in the Army. Both went through entrance processing in Portland and had to spend the night in this hotel. My older son was provided a meal in the restaurant in the evening and a buffet breakfast. My younger son recently went through processing. He could not sit in the restaurant. He had to take a to go meal from a heated box in a side room. My older son got to select from a special menu. My youngest had to choose from a pasta, a lasagna, and KRAFT DINNER. All meals were a pasta. A friend choose the lasagna and said it was definitely a frozen type meal. The buffet? Nope. Now breakfast served is a granola bar, an apple and a premade breakfast sandwich still in the plastic wrapper. I understand the issues with Covid. However the hotel restaurant is open for dining. Just not to young members of the US Military apparently. And who thinks its appropriate to serve premade frozen lasagna, KRAFT DINNER, and thawed breakfast sandwiches to young people devoting the first years of their adult lives in service of our country? And apples? What are bananas too expensive? Oranges? Yoghurt? Nope. I want readers to know that this hotel seems to have no respect for enlistees of the US Military. Who ever came up with this "menu" should be ashamed of themselves. The military covers the cost of the food for these new servicemen and women, the hotel is not providing anything by donation. The management should be embarrassed. What, the kitchen doesnt know how to cook real food?
