  Limpio y amplio

  Bien ubicado, limpio, amplias habitaciones. Dos camas queen, baño grandísimo, pero sin bidet, como en toda china. También como en toda China, no hay wi-fi en la habitación, además de los bloqueos a Google y otros sitios occidentales. En la ciudad está muy contaminado el aire, no tanto como Beijing pero el cielo no se ve casi nunca. El desayuno no tiene muchas opciones internacionales.

  Toilet seat in Room 606 needs is either old or needs proper cleaning

  Visited Blue horizon hotel in Qingdao Huangdao with my two sons where we stayed for 5 nights , the hotel is good but the toilet in room number 607 is either old or is not cleaned deep inside properly.In addition , the door systems inconveniences guests as sometimes fails to open even when you push in the key and you have to go back to the reception for resetting. And definitely if you are a non smoker, dont book to stay there. Further more the min bar in room number 606 did not have the fridge and the one in room number 607 did not have any items in it. The hotel also needs to employ some one who knows other international languages other than Chinese as it receives guests from various countries of the world. Meals are good and enough for whoever enters the dining and drinks and fruits are served on top of food. Service is also good except its interrupted by language barrier if you are not from China. Good location because you can access the ocean nearby and various shopping malls as well as one of the state petroleum Universitys in China. Will definitely visit it again if some of the mentioned above improve.

  Good hotel for a night or two, convenient location

  This is a solid hotel for business or travel. It is fairly old and worn, but has all the necessary services. It is very good proximity to the University as well as other Huangdao Economic & Technical Development district locations, and is reasonably close to the sea. There are signs of water damage and the rug and trim was in pretty poor condition.

  Ok for a short stay

  I stayed here for one night. The room was very large but not very clean. Stains on carpet and furniture, dust on doors .... At the least the bed was clean. Although I requested a non smoking room, there was a faint sense of smoke smellable in the room. This could also be due to smoking persons on the hallways. There is no deposit box in the room. An interesting approach is, that in every room there were items on sale: Food and drinks, socks, slippers and many other things. Breakfast was surprisingly bad. The restaurant is very large but had the charme of a factory floor. There was a wide selection of food available but the quality was very low. Flies were flying around the food and sitting on it. Overall, there are worse places to stay in China...

  Ok but not great

  Its probably most convenient if you are on a budget and visiting the Petroleum University which is right next door and there are plenty of choices for restaurants across fro University entrance. If you want a higher grade hotel, the Sheraton is a block away but double the price.
