  Excelente atencion y muy buena vista

  Buena recepción y muy buena onda, nos cambiaron la habitación por una que estábamos mas cómodos, el hotel limpio, buenas camas y vista. Son preferibles en segundo piso. Hay con vista a la bahia o a la ruta, logico que las con vista a la bahia son mas caras, pero vale la pena.

  Maravillosa ubicación

  Desde el puerto, que está delante del hotel, salen los barcos hacia las Poor Knights Islands que es visita obligada. Éramos un grupo de 4 amigos y aprovechamos para hacer submarinismo. La habitación y el baño están totalmente equipados y son muy grandes. Los servicios están muy bien y la comida del bar/restaurante también. El único "pero" sería lo que tardan en servir los desayunos.

  Good price, good sleep

  We had a room at the rear - the outlook was actually to the trees, perfectly pleasant. It was spacious with a large bed and a generous living area adjacent to the large window, allowing for plenty of natural light. Car parking out back, while you stepped out the front and straight to the marina, and small set of stores and eateries which feature in the marina area. Good air conditioning, a bath as well as a shower, pool (we didnt swim in it; when we popped down there were children swimming in the pool un-supervised, not much fun for any others wanting to swim). Limited options when staying here - there are some stores located in the same building at ground level and a few eateries as you walk around the marina, plus one eatery in the hotel building itself which seems to be the only place for breakfast. We actually drove along to Matapouri for a walk on the beach there in the late afternoon. Good nights sleep - the curtains are not blackout and there were children up and making a noise early, so an early start. As we left in the morning, the fire alarms went off. We were lucky as we were just walking out to our car.

  Lovely Front Desk Service

  Super friendly and went out of their way to make amends after we went into our room and it hadnt been serviced after the last occupants left. Simple human error but they bent over backwards making things right with a free drink, room upgrade the following 2 nights and the Reception lady serviced the room herself as hotel full and cleaners gone. All desk staff were always friendly and welcoming and professional. The rooms were lovely, clean, comfy bed and nicely maintained and furnished. The room cleaners were not very discreet having loud conversations regularly heard up and down the hall, and from the pool area when they were outside presumably having morning tea break. And included the F word heard on more than one occasion. Nice swimming pool but pot plants and surrounding area run down and shabby. A beautiful part of the world. Would definitely return.

  On the harbour front....

  Had a night at Oceans and on arrival upgraded to a waterfront room. I understand that all available rooms are privately owned so I guess its a bit of luck what you get. Ours was functional but in serious need of an inexpensive upgrade. Definitely would benefit from air conditioning - compliments to all the staff though who were excellent. Enjoy.....
