  Hopeless

  Returning guest. First time stay no problems. This time however, hopeless. Room wasnt serviced, despite being told at 5pm that it would be serviced before we retired for the evening. Upon returning from dinner at 8:30pm room wasnt serviced. The next day when our breakfast didnt arrive contacted reception. Only to be told that we didnt put an order in. Family of 3 adults and 1 child placed our order together as a family by filling out the breakfast card at reception and handed to the staff member. I dont think the four of us were mistaken. And to rub salt into the wound. We were contacted by the hotel four days before our arrival to confirm our booking. And to also ask if we needed our room to be serviced during our stay (we advised yes), and to be told that due to the holiday season the restaurant wont be open but room service breakfast would be available. Ppppfffftttt!! Hopeless this time around.

  Very nice

  Great place to stay. Rooms were nice size, king size bed was great. Neat and clean, parking was easy. Close to the the lake which was lovely to take a nice walk around. Didn't go to the restaurant at all.

  Nice place

  We booked in for 2 night. The place is nice and clean and follows COVID rules also. We where in deluxe room with nice king size bed , small sofa and study table with small balcony . The staff is nice and helpful. There is restaurant is also available on site which offers breakfast , lunch and dinner.

  Stopped for lunch @ park lake restaurant

  We stopped for lunch at park lake after walking past and smelling the delicious food coming from there. The menu was full of offerings to suit our whole family which was great and the waiter was amazing! Throughly recommend and would drive back just to come and eat here again!

  Great hotel with potential, unfortunately...

  We booked 3 nights for a family room and pleasantly got upgraded to a room with a small dining table and a sofa to go with the king size bed and 2 single beds. Our room was located in their new building and the room looks fairly new, although not a great view from the windows. The king bed was in a separate room from the other 2 single beds and both rooms had its own TV, which was nice. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was really loud though, as if someone is using a hair blower whenever the lights are turned on. Disappointed to find out that the swimming pool is not heated. Only the spa water was better warmed. However the spa was also not in full working order. It has an adequate gym that should satisfy most people. On our second day, after a day of outing and returning, we realized our room wasn't cleaned eventhough we did not hang up the "do not disturb" card. On our 3rd day as well, after several visit and calls to reception, our room was finally cleaned in the later afternoon. However, my son realize his wireless earphones were missing after that. He was sure he left them in the room. He checked with reception, but was told they didn't see it. Probably his own fault for leaving it in the room, but still utterly disappointed to loose something to housekeeping. There was no safe in the room for keeping your valuables and if you're thinking of housekeeping, you better bring your valuables with you. The refrigerator in the room also did not seem to be cooling things appropriately. Overall, the location of this hotel is fantastic. You can walk over to the nearby park that has a beautiful little lake. Walking to town is near for finding restaurants. But the dismal house keeping service (and potential theft), i do not think i will stay in this hotel again if i return to shepparton.
