Very poor accomodation :(San Pellegrino is really an excellent ski resort so it was a shame that we had such a bad accomodation. Firstly, it is overpriced for what it offers. We have payed the same price for the apartment here as for some apartments in Italy and Austria during past years which were really an excellent ones when you compare it with this one. Ok, you have to pay an extra price for sleeping at 1900 m but nevertheless, it is still overpriced. Why? We were in the apartment for 6 and one room had no window, it was like sleeping in the closet. Apartments are very poorly equipped (a lot of dishes were missing, we constantly had to ask for something, lights/lamps didn't work, a blanket was missing and we didn't get one although we have asked for one etc). It looks like it was restored last time during eighties of the last century. The worst thing was that it was very, very dirty (floors, walls, dishes, hairs on the bathroom floor, yellow stains on cushions and blankets etc. We even found a pudding in the kitchen which expired in 2015???). It looks like they have only one cleaning lady for almost 30 apartments, don't need to say anything more, you can imagine the amount of work she has to do on Saturday when they have guest shifts. And 50 euros for cleaning is mandatory fee, for what??? They have swimming pool and sauna, luckly it's quite darkly so you cannot see how dirty they are If they don't have time to clean the aparments you can imagine how they have time to clean common spaces like sauna or garage. Also, you have to pay 10 euros/person for towels and linen and 26 euros for pool/sauna even if you don't use it. Wi-fi is available only at reception. Storage space for skiis and boots are in the garage with no heating/drying. One day we had no heating and hot water and it was -15°C outside. Use of garage is 37 euros per week but after everything we faced when we came there they allowed us to use the garage free of charge. That was the only light point, ok when we also add balcony view and location (apartment is very near the slopes). Definitively will return to San Pellegrino but definitvely NOT to this accomodation which would I not reccomend to anyone.

Poor, noisy, overpriced accomodationWe spent a week there with two kids. The reason we chose this apartment was, that is advertises itself as it is right next to the ski slopes. That is correct and with a mere 50-100 meters of walk the closest ski slope can be reached, however that short distance is impossible to take with kids, age below ~8 years old. The passage is very dangerous close to the hotel, where there is a steep region and the hotel is not doing anything to make it more comfy or less dangerous. So we had to use the car every single day to approach the slopes and not risking any major injuries. The room itself is very poor. We couldn't sleep, because the beds were extremely uncomfy and also I felt like I was in a youth hostel, both noise level and quality wise. We were completely exhausted after one week due to these circumstances. The equipment was far from what they advertise on their website: no furnace, no dishwasher... Each of the forks, spoons, cups, glasses were from different sets (glassas only empty nutella jars and Foster glasses...). Even upon our arrival many bulbs were not functioning. We also had to pay the leisure pass to use swimming pool, sauna and an internal playground for the kids. We did use the kids corner at the first evening, when one of the staffs' dog pooped right into the middle of the playground! When I reported to the staff, I felt from their reaction that it was not the first time... So we never ever went close to the restaurant, kids corner or any other leisure places. The ski area is fantastic and I will definitely return in the next years, but I will never ever going close to this accommodation and if you want a relaxing ski holiday, avoid this accomodation as well.

Nice atmosphere, nice and helpful staff. We had so much fun. Thanks to all the staff in particular to Daniel the manager who made us feel at home. See you soon

Terrible experienceWe first stayed here in February 2018, during a ski trip. We really loved the fact that the residence is near the slopes and you did not have to travel too far if you wanted to enjoy a day on the slopes and return to the base whenever you wanted to. The rooms were pretty dark and unclean with outdated furniture, missing pots and cutlery in the kitchen. The stove was also faulty. The beds very uncomfortable and the bathroom dirty and moldy. The only + was the sauna and pool, which are both too small to accommodate the guests of the residence. Leaving all the negative aside, we decided to go back this year as we aren't that peaky about the place we stay in as long as we can ski and be close to the slopes. In June 2018 we booked 3 rooms x 6 people for March 2019 and payed an advance for the booking. We made the reservation via email at info@residencerododendro.com. Unfortunately, it did not cross my mind to call again the hotel, because we exchanged several emails, the last one in November, so I presumed everything was fine. In the day of our arrival I called there just to find out they did not book 3 apartments for us, although they confirmed via email they did. We were 18 people and a 8 months baby. After 1400 km on the road, at 9 pm we arrived at the Residence Rododendro to find out we have no booking. Daniel apologized and found a new place for us to stay very fast, 30 km away in Cavalese, which we were not happy about it, but what could we do? It was really late and everybody was very pissed. Daniel seem very eager to get rid of us. He gave us the new reservation which we had to pay or we were free to go and found ourselves another one. He also said he got as a discount at the new place, only to find out from our new host that we payed more. We payed full for the new place plus he took our advance for the reservation at the Residence Rododendro. Also, our host told us we're not the first tourists they did this to. I am very, very disappointed with these people and the treatment we received. I do not recommend this place to anybody. You can be lucky and get a room or no. They constant overbook and forget about reservations from what I understand.

Very, very bad lodgingThough placed just a few steps from the ski lifts at the San Pellegrino Pass the hotel itself is a sad joke. Crumbling balconies, lack of matching bed lining, overheated rooms (w/o adjustment possibilities) and a joke of a bed (150cm styrofoam vs a promised couch). Add to this very mediocre food and staff that generally doesnt give a s***. Avoid at all cost!
