  My first visit to Cambodia...

  Despite having a good idea of what is good value in Thailand, I cannot really rank this hotel based on 'value' in Cambodia because it is the only hotel I stayed in when visiting the country, a country that apparently has a two-tier pricing system for locals and tourists. Compared to what you'd get in Thailand for $17 a night, it was very good value, a proper hotel, especially by western standards. I can also say that the staff are very friendly, the room was very clean, the bed was big and comfortable. There was a clean toilet/shower bathroom. Wifi and tv included, there really isn't much to complain about with regards to the overall experience of staying there.

  Nice place in Siem Riep

  Good location of this hotel! Price is reasonable , staff speak English and friendly! Have taxi took took Infront of hotel. Place is queued in night time, but only 2$ and 5 min by took took to center if the city. Next door have nice Restoran - La Rose Cafe. Tasty food and coffee. Panini and pizza wonderful.

  good location with good price for local guest

  The location is very good with friendly staff. The room is big enough for two it can compare with the local hotel in Phnom Penh. In house service is hot& cold water, mini bar and big cloth cabinet nice bathroom, good cable tv and good Wi-fi access. If you go to visit Siem Reap, Please enjoy with this guest house.

  Staff are friendly, though only 1 or 2 can understand a little English. This place is old and looks the part. Things kept breaking down the air-con, lights, hot water, bathroom ventilator, toilet seat. But staff fixed these very quickly. Window sills and other corners full of dust. Walls full of stains. Bathroom yucky. However, bedding and towels (sometimes) are in good condition. Toilet roll is like sandpaper. They provide 2 bottles of drinking water, and hot and cold drinking water downstairs. There is a supply of shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush. Cleaning is done daily. It is OK as a 1-star hotel. It is a budget hotel, not a guesthouse or B&B. It attracts traveling Cambodian families and young groups, which means lots of noise, thumping and babies screeching. Also there're insects (small & big) in the area and sometimes in the bathroom. Free relatively strong wifi in rooms.

  service, price and friendliness

  have come here for many years for the price, the very friendly staff,almost like family, bath tubs in many rooms-love it!! great hamburg joint across the street, tuk tuks on call here 24/7, decent wifi, good massage will come to room, contact front desk as they all speak good english
