  Urawa Royal Pines Hotel

  Very friendly staff, on entering the hotel one feels you have arrived at a place you will looked after. Breakfast was excellent, there is a variety for English, Chinese and Japanase cuisine. Spoint for choice. Within walking distance to station and also a close by shrine to visit. It is just around the corner for those who love temples and shines and historical sites. There is In house shopping outlets and clothing store. Very spacious and accomodating seating meeting area. Rooms are equipped with toiletries, toothpaste, combs, facecloth, towels, shampoo. Our room had a beautiful view being on the 10th floor. Loved the atmosphere and will certainly recommended this hotel.

  Top notch service

  Very nice hotel and rooms. Staff is friendly and approachable. English speakers with a little broken Nihongo will do well here. Stayed with 3 children and grandmother and all enjoyed the stay. Very pleased with our choice.

  Simple and clean

  Stayed only one night. Great service, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast had a wide variety. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Decorations were simple and a bit outdated. Great location, next to a family mart. Urawa Train station about 5-8 minute walk. Direct limousine bus from Haneda Airport (Tokyo) 3 stops (1.5-2 hours) about 15$ usd a ticket.

  A great hotel

  A great hotel with (if you're lucky) wonderful views of Mt Fuji. The Japanese normal but much appreciated levels of service and attention. The lounge Bar is on the 19th Floor, fantastic views over Saitama. As usual in Japan, drinks are expensive. A glass of reasonable Sauvignon blanc will set you back the best part of a tenner (£10.00), but the views make up for it! and a bonus, a limousine coach runs from the front door to Haneda Airport, costs about £11.00, and worth every penny. A warning for those of a nervous disposition, there is a tunnel along the way, it is 18km long (about 11 miles), so if you're claustrophobic, find another way!

  Quiet and comfortable, great service.

  Nice, comfortable hotel with fantastic service. I stayed here a few days as part of a group during a business trip. Usually with somewhat-extended stays, menu fatigue is a problem at breakfast... but not here. The breakfast buffet's variety is well above average and offers delicious staples from both Western and Japanese cuisines at a very competitive price. The rooms are a bit outdated, but extremely well cared-for. Even though the penthouse piano bar and the banquet halls in the lower floors are usually pretty busy, the rooms and hallways are perfectly peaceful all of the time. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating to my group's sudden changes of plans. Some of the staff struggle a bit with English, but everyone's always friendly and willing to help. I had a view of Mt. Fuji from my room, which was a nice little bonus. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to people traveling for business to the Urawa-Saitama area.
