  A lovely place

  Sadly we checked out of Sabai today as we continue on our little family trip around South West Thailand. We had a great time staying with Alberto and Noi, what fantastic hosts they are. Our room and the rest of the resort was super clean and in great order, so quiet and so much space. The food prepared and served in the Restaurant was first rate, I actually don't remember eating better Thai food anywhere, we live on the Italian border and Alberto's pasta equals the restaurants we frequent on the Italian Riviera. The host were great with us and our two small girls (2 & 4), our expectations were exceeded we will return......

  Paradise

  Sabai resort is an amazing place! It is located amongst palms plantations, some way off a relatively quiet road, so nights are really quiet. The garden is amazing, although still growing as the place is relatively new. The rooms are spotless, the cleanest rooms of the holiday for sure. They also have fan, air conditioning and two windows which can create draft, so you can pick the way you prefer to cool down the room. It also has mosquito nets and it's well isolated, so although it's in the middle of the nature, there are no insects inside the rooms. Alberto and Noi, the hosts, are very helpful and kind, and helped us out organising transportation to Satun and rented us a motorbike for the stay. The area is not the most visited, so probably is not for everyone, but we definitely loved it and the hosts can suggest nice trips to do during the stay! The whole family enjoyed the stay so much, that we nearly lost our son there: he wanted to go to Ko Samui with the hosts instead of continuing the trip with us!

  Very beautiful location and rooms

  We stayed for 3 nights at Sabai Pak Meng resort and we really loved it! The owners Alberto and Noi are very friendly. We rented a scooter from them and discovered the area recommended by Alberto and Noi, which was very good. The food was very taste full and the room very clean. The location of the resort is beautiful and quiet. Pak Meng is a very small town but very nice with a lot of restaurants at the beach.

  Pleasant, peaceful...perfect!

  The Sabai (now Kingfisher Retreat II) was a wonderful holiday stay for us! The owners gave great, personal service. The meals and drinks were excellent, the cabanas well appointed, and we enjoyed their company and that of the other guests. Alberto and Noi even graciously took us into their favorite beach and spent an afternoon with us...we laughed and laughed. We also enjoyed a walk through the rubber plantation surrounding the resort. We'll go back if we return to the Trang area.

  Kingfisher retreat

  This retreat is a must for anyone visiting trat and the islands surrounding the area. The rooms are imaculately clean with internet tv and the fixtures are of a very high standard. It surrounded in beautiful plants trees and shrubs. It has a swimming pool steam bath and jaquzi. The proud owners of the retreat welcome their guests to enjoy the delicious food froma thai and western menu. The kingfisher is a must for anyone exploring thailand,a paradise in heaven...
