  Just plain awful. Stay well clear of this one.

  I guess you really get what you pay for. I was attending a 3-day course in the nearby Selayang Hospital and was given accomodation here. From check-in itself it was a nightmare. We specifically asked for a room with twin beds upon booking, which the hotel receptionist said was available days before. However on checking in she brushed our request aside and said that only rooms with double beds were left as another party has fully booked the rooms with twin beds. What we ended up with was a cramped, sorry excuse for a room, with barely enough space to share. I had to do the tango with my roommate to get to the other side of the room. If he pulled out a chair to sit at the mirrored table, my way to the exit would be entirely blocked. The bathroom was no better. Cramped, chronically wet, with no shampoo, toilet tissue, toothbrush or toothpaste provided. No place to hang your clothes while you bathed either. Worse still, NO DAILY ROOM CLEANING and NO DAILY CHANGE OF TOWELS. The beds were left unmade and I had to use the same towel for the entire duration of my stay. Sleep was frequently interrupted due to a nightclub operating just opposite the hotel. And I would complain about the breakfast too, if in fact they provided any! Truly one of my worst stays ever, even though it was fully sponsored I would never come here again.

  Bed with bugs

  It was terrible experience for me. I went there to try up this hotel on 26/3/2016. I took the queen size room at RM70 for weekend rate walk in. When I lie on the bed, after a certain period, I felt something bit me. when I checked, I notice I got 2 insect bites and it turn reddish spot on my arms. The bedsheet looks dirty and dusty. the soap provided were small round soap and horrible. the hot shower was not function properly. Water is slow and the heat not easily controlled. I fully NOT recommended anyone to try this hotel.It's not worth for the money. better try some other places.

  Just another budget hotel but good customer service

  Couldn't get a family room for 4 in Selayang KL, but Admin/ marketing Exec Siti Saloma of Sahara Inn Prima Selayang made arrangements to accommodate all 4 of us in 1 room by adding an extra bed. We stayed 2 nights. Hotel is close to UiTM Selayang and Hospital Selayang. At night the area looks lonely and may find difficulty in getting a car park space, from 7 to 11pm due to the nearby Tang Dynasty restaurant and Ideal Convention Hall for Chinese (wedding) dinners. Road side car parking is free. There is a lot of commercial vehicle traffic in the day time. For the 4, the room was small but not cramped as it was meant to be for 3 pax. It had plenty of electrical power plug points for everyone's phone/ laptop charging. Areas of improvements: there was water dripping from the ceiling and this caught Siti by surprise but she gave us an alternative room the next day. The bathroom could do with hooks for hanging clothes. Wifi was available but weak in strength. There should be another bed-sheet to sleep in-between, for hygiene reasons, instead of the bedspread directly on us (as surely the bedspread is not washed after each check out (hopefully the bedsheets are) The staff - cleaning, front desk & Siti were cheerful and helpful. Room & bathroom were clean.
