  Wonderful

  Started off in the Island beach annex which is definitely for those that are there to party after 2 nights we went to reception and spoke to the lovely Magda ,who moved us to the San Marina Hotel this was just amazing wonderful sea view ,beautiful clean hotel ,Lovely rooms , the girls are there cleaning the corridors and stairs every morning before starting the rooms .Breakfast was good ,lovely little restaurant , we have been to Kavos 3 times at different hotels this was by far the best ,can't wait to go back.

  Awful village, beach is okay

  Nowhere on their website does it say that it is located in a village with a main streat full of discotheques that are so noisy that you cannot have a normal conversation in a restaurant next to them, and that you cannot possibly sleep with this racket all night. Adoloscents partying all night, is what you should expect to find in Kavos. Hotel is not worthy of 3 stars with mould in the showers, the bedlamps, and the bed linen. Towels and woollen blankets are not clean. You also need to pay for the airconditioning. Avoid Kavos! Go anywhere else.

  Misleading & only interested in making extra money

  We arrived on Monday 24th Sept. Thought hotel looked lovely that was until we were taken to our room. It was the only room situated on top of Island bar overlooking the strip. The shower was broken, the cooker & cutlery was disgusting. 3 single beds for 2 of us. Looking out of the window directly below was broken bottle & gas canisters on the bar roof. We had booked self catering which this room was but it was awful. Now being no stranger at 49 years old to party town hotels as for 6 years twice a year we have stayed in Calvin & magaluf this was appalling. We went to reception to ask if we could change rooms the blonde lady on reception was clearly not happy by her manner. We were then told we can have a superior room only for an extra 32. I ask if there was a kettle tv etc to be told no. The manager told us to look at room & if no good they would try to find us another hotel as it was our first visit to the island & needed to make sure we had a lovely stay. This was just all talk. We decided the room was okay to be fair we had been up since 2 the morning before & it was now 3.00. We settled in showered changed went out for dinner & a walk around. Came back about 10 to find water all over the bathroom floor there was a leak from the toilet. We reported there & then. The lad came up from reception to be fair to him he was not sure what was causing it but gave us a towel to put down until maintenance came the next day. Tues after a day at the beach & already mopped up water twice in the morning we were flooded again. Went to reception the girl on reception said nothing had been reported then I spotted the young lad who returned to our room again. The following morning more mopping up. Wed afternoon flooded again asked the same young girl when it was going to be fixed and that I had to pay an extra 32 for this room and it was not right that everyday since we arrived it was wrong. She was adamant that it was fixed to which point I demanded someone come & look at it. A lovely lady with her hair in a ponytail based in the office offered to come & look. She told us he had replaced the flusher and even she could see it was the ballcock inside. He could not come out Wed now as he finished at 3.00. Showed her the towel we had been given she was concerned that if I am carrying it to the balcony I could slip so she informed me she was given us a mop & bucket unreal. She mentioned they had a similar problem in another room & had to move the guest as they had to put the toilet out of order whilst mastick dried. Thurs asked when it was going to be fixed as I am no longer mopping anymore and the smell of sewage from the little drain where the water is trying to go down is unbearable. She was amazed it had not been fixed. She did mention about moving us but the blonde lady was very quick to say they are going home tomorrow they should have suggested this on the 2nd complaint. Went out came back at 4.30 & it was fixed. Our stay was 4 nights & 3 of those we had to mop up. No offer of a refund no apology nothing. Have also sent this information to on the beach as the photos on the site are misleading and they show the hotels next door to this one. There are 2/3 hotels linked together but the ones you see are the superior hotels. A guy spoke to us on Thursday afternoon he was mortified at the hotel he booked thinking there was a gym booked a superior and got a room like ours. Absolutely shocking. We will never return.

  Kavos is the center of entertainment on this island

  Interesting room, friendly staff, quite noises from the street at night (also off-season), since Kavos is the center of entertainment on this island. It is located right next to the city center, so there are many options for shopping and night entertainment.

  Absolute gem of a place

  Visited here September 2020, hotel is under new Management, Xristos who is the new owner and all his staff cannot do enough for you. The food was excellent, would highly recommend this hotel, it is on the beach front and is central to the town. We have booked again for next year. Great hospitality from all the staff. Thanks Brian & Mandy.
