  Agradable hotel

  Situado en pleno centro de Palinuro, el hotel dispone de todos los servicios necesarios, camas confortables, limpio, estéticamente sencillo pero agradable. Servicio muy atento y simpático (especialmente las chicas de recepción). El desayuno tipo bufet bastante correcto para lo que suele ser habitual.

  A brilliant hotel in a superb location

  This hotel is a gem of a place, our room had a balcony with the most incredible view over the harbour area. The quality is excellent with nothing spared (other than tea making equipment which is our only criticism) We arrived on the eve of the local festival which made for a great experience, the hotel is situated midway on the main street which both evening turned into a street market. At night we were treated to an incredible firework display viewed from our balcony. despite being the end of the season the festival ensured a a great atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent and set us up well for a days walking and exploring. The town is lovely with delightful beaches, boat trips to the blue grotto, and loads of good restaurants. The reception girls both spoke excellent English and were most helpful with all our requests. Car parking was just across the road in their private area. Strong recommend for this hotel, a lovely spot !

  Pleasant stay

  Unfortunately the weather was somewhat inclement when we arrived - so we didn't see the place at its best. We were allocated a pleasant room with a dual aspect which was very nice - with a small balcony and it was very clean and spacious. Breakfasts were excellent - you could order omelettes and there was a good choice. The hotel staff were very helpful too but there was little ambience as it was out of season and not many people were resident. There was a really great bar at the side of the hotel - it was unclear whether it was separate to the hotel or part of it - but it was the only area where you could sit out of your rooms - other than the dining room. The staff there were really friendly.

  Breathtaking balcony views

  After several weeks of visiting Italian cities with their glorious museums, churches, and archaeological sites, we needed the beach! The Cilento coast offered us exactly what we wanted. Since we were traveling without a car, we wanted to be close to the water in a small town. Palinuro was perfect. The hotel is nicely sited, a 10 minute walk from a delightful small cove with a refreshment stand and a nice beach on the crystal-clear, blue-green water. The people at the desk also kindly arranged for a cab which, for 10, took us to the lovely Marinella beach a few kilometers away. (The hotel also arranged for a taxi pick up at the train station upon our arrival from Naples.) Our room was pleasant, with a balcony that could not have offered more spectacular views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, sunsets, and soft breezes. The hotel is located on the main street in this small town, which meant we were treated to the evening passeggiata. We especially enjoyed the small bar and gelato counter adjoining the hotel, with a terrace that had fabulous views of the bay.

  Todo sobre la vista

  Cuando viaje a Italia en octubre no hay una larga cola en el buffet por la mañana. Como mi esposa y yo disfrutamos de la magnífica vista del mar durante el desayuno el camarero nos trajo tazas de café aparentemente interminables. La habitación era estupenda. Con vistas tanto a la ciudad de Palinuro como al océano, me sentí como si nos dieran una suite nupcial. Pero nosotros no lo hicimos. Miramos tanto la suite como la habitación normal y nos ahorramos la masa de viaje. La habitación normal era igual de bueno. El personal era muy amigo de "Ciao" (hola) para "Ciao" (adiós). La próxima vez que estemos en la ciudad este es el lugar donde nos alojaremos.
