  Buen lugar para vacacionar

  Excelente opción para pasar una vacaciones agradable y familiares ya que cuenta con cómodos departamentos y muy funcionales. áreas recreativas, alberca, canchas etc. Las habitaciones tienen área de servicio con lavadora, secadora y cocina completa.

  Not impressed

  We have been to many resorts in the Vistana network and so far this one has been the least impressive. We are in a smaller of the one bedroom units which to begin with isn't that great. NO WINDOWS!!! small balcony overlooking basically nothing that is very dreary and cold because the sunlight doesn't come near it. The unit itself has nowhere other than a small hanging closet to put clothes. No dressers which makes it very difficult to unpack. Other than the pool which is nice there is nothing to do at the resort itself. Area is beautiful with plenty of restaurant choices. We did not eat at the pool restaurant mostly because of the outrageous prices. Pretty sure we won't be back to this resort.

  Lovely Resort

  After the initial check-in, which was a great at the desk, but thenI had an issue with the first unit. When I purchased my week, from a private owner, I was assured that I would have a one bedroom with the FULL kitchen available to me. When I got to the unit I found a small, limited kitchen. There was a jacuzzi tub that I would have to climb over to take a shower, and possibly fall. The worst part of this unit was no windows, except for the slider that had a small lanai and was boxed in. DARK. I talked with the front desk (Patrick) and requested another unit with a shower vs the tub also a full kitchen. I was told that they were booked for the weekend and there was nothing available. I requested to talk with the manager (Josh). I again was informed basically you get what you get and no guarantees. I told him I confirmed my FULL kitchen with Sheraton and with the owner. I was informed the owner does not speak for Sheraton. I am sure the owner pays maintenance fees on the larger one bedroom villa vs the mini villa. After bantering back and forth, I was moved from the less desirable unit to a "handicap" unit, where I had the full kitchen and a walk-in shower! It was 800 plus square feet vs the 500 square foot first unit. The unit I ended up with was exactly what was described to me by the owner and Sheraton. I was content and ended up having a beautiful week in Scottsdale. Now for the best part of the Sheraton Desert Oasis...the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The staff from the front desk ladies I encountered, to housekeeping to the fantastic staff at the pool were friendly, kind and helpful. The gentleman at the Splash restaurant was very nice, they delivered the food to my seat and it was HOT and good. I have no complaints. I was amazed watching the staff at the pool and the moment someone vacated their chaise lounge, they were there within seconds to spray it down and clean it. I would definitely return there in the future if the opportunity arouse again. Other than the one small blip at the onset, it didn't ruin my week in the beautiful, magnificent Scottsdale area.

  Could be an Oasis

  This property has so much potential but is such a disappointment. Where to start? The front desk. Took me over 30 minutes to check-in with a reservation I made through Marriott. The room was dirty and the shower was impossible to use. The shower curtain was like tissue paper and blew against you while you were showering. A request for extra pillows was refused at first because we were told to use the extra pillows in the top of the closet - these pillows were small and not the same level of support. Eventually, housekeeping brought regular pillows. The grounds are lovely and the pool is fantastic. The pool staff was very friendly. Note the check out time at this property is 10:00 AM and no other Marriott property in the area has a check-out time earlier than 11:00 AM.

  Helaine was nothing but helpful as we tried to plan our week of fun in the Scottsdale area. She was kind, patient and an excellent listener. She shared about different experiences, wonderful restaurants and the sights we had to see. A big thank you to Helaine for giving us so much fantastic advice!
