    Un buen hotel de negocios y ocio

    Muy adaptado para celebrar reuniones de empresa y otros eventos. buenas salas de reuniones en un fantástico entorno. Las habitaciones modernas y muy limpias, y la comida excelente teniendo en cuenta que es Suecia.

    unfortunate service standard

    Last month, my girlfriend and I, along with 2 friends arrived to check in at 15:00 on a Sunday (Oct 11, 2020) and we had a few problems. Dinner was included in our room rate, but the hotel restaurant had no available reservations before 21:30, on any of the 3 days we had booked. They were able to offer us a 19:00 reservation at their more casual restaurant down the street. The weather was very nice (for October) and we were excited to check out the new rooftop bar and pool. When we got up there, it was very crowded, even for non-coronavirus times. Our friend who had stayed at the hotel before, suggested we head to the house built on the water where he said we could sit in the jacuzzi and enjoy a drink. We left the rooftop and on our way, stopped at the desk to book some spa treatments, we were told there were no times were available during our entire stay. When we arrived at the house on the water, we were told the jacuzzi was closed for repairs, and would not re-open during our stay. We went to our dinner at 19:00, the service was very friendly, the food not so good, and we were a little unlucky with wine, after choosing a bottle, we were told it was the only one that was sold out, so we chose another, again sold out. We woke up early the next morning since at check-in and on the printed brochure, it was recommended that the best time to visit the rooftop pool and hot tub was between 7-8:00 in the morning. We arrived to find the elevator locked. We walked back to reception and were told (despite the brochure on the counter) that is would not open until 9:00am. He suggested we try the spa, which opened at 7:00. We walked back to the spa, it was also locked. When we walked back to ask, he instructed a member of the cleaning staff to let us in, she was unable to unlock the door either, but luckily someone from the cleaning staff was inside and let us in, but informed us that we could only use the pool since the rest of the spa was being cleaned, we lazed in the pool, but after a while the spa was still being cleaned, so we left. For breakfast, we were asked at check-in, to could choose between 7:00 or 9:00, we would normally choose 7:00, but we chose 9:00 since we had hoped to use the rooftop at 7:00. Now we asked to change from 9:00 to 9:30 so we could head to the rooftop at 9:00 before it got too crowded. We arrived at the rooftop elevator just before 9:00, but it was roped off with a sign saying it was too crowded. Amazed, we asked and were told they were having "technical difficulties." We waited a few moments, then gave up. We went back upstairs to change for breakfast, when we got there, they had already removed half of the buffet, then other half at 10:00. We did have a nice latte (that came with a surcharge.) and an excellent breakfast. Luckily the weather was very nice for the time of year, so we rented some bikes and went for a ride along the water, it was really beautiful.  The rest of Monday went pretty well, my friend had a chat with the manager (I wasn't present) who was able to move our dinner reservation to the main restaurant at 7:00 for the remaining 2 nights. Both dinners were excellent, as were the service and wine list. Tuesday was also fun, we managed to get some time alone in the rooftop hot tub and another bike ride, we even found a (private) massage outside of the hotel just a 15 minute bicycle ride away. After our last dinner, we spent some time in the bar having drinks and went to our rooms very tired and ready to sleep, we got upstairs to find a horrible smell in our room, like we were standing in a sewer. We were too tired to talk to the front desk and instead just opened the window and went to sleep. In the morning, the smell had not gone, so instead of spending a nice morning, we just went home disappointed. I know it is a very difficult time for the hotel and travel industry, and I hate to write a negative review. I would be understanding if due to a lack of guests, that some services were not available, but this hotel was not suffering from that problem and should have upheld a higher service standard. I hope they can

    Avoid at all costs!

    Have stayed in this hotel several times in the past years since they changed ownership to Gram they are denying all Hotel guests without a dinner and spa package to use the spa! They said it was due to covid but in truth they started charging entrance fees just to use the pool and sauna if rooms were not booked via them. So hotel guests with rooms booked via Expedia or hotels will suffer the same fate. Read the small prints. Avoid all Gram hotels.

    Disappointed with the Restaurant Staff during dinner

    Great Spa and amazing rooftop pool. Really good food and wine at the restaurant, except for the staff serving dinner. We had to chase the staff at the restaurant to get service, we could see that 4 staff waiters were chatting among themselves in the middle of the room and ignoring the tables they were in charge.
