  Best birthday in a long time

  I had been wanting to visit Smithfield Station for a while and finally did as a spontaneous birthday getaway, and I couldn't have been happier. We stayed in one of the cottages which provided a bit of seclusion during the pandemic, but they're also cozy and romantic. We were impressed with the precautions that the hotel put in place including offering nice amenities already in the room. We also picked up food at the hotel's restaurant, which was fantastic. Being by the water and in such an adorable town as Smithfield just added to a fantastic weekend getaway. You can simply enjoy a quiet time at what feels like a resort, to taking in the nearby sites, such as hiking at the state park, walking around and visiting the local shops and breweries, and historic sites.

  Lovey place to stay.

  Very friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere surrounded with beautiful views. Great location. Clean room with thoughtful amenities. We arrived late and due to covid restrictions they could not do the breakfast so they stocked our mini fridge with breakfast and snacks. Also recommend the Sunday buffet offered in the attached restraunt.

  Weekend Getaway!!

  Staying at the Smithfield Station is always a pleasurable experience. The weather was a little cool this past weekend, but to wake up to the amazing views, and be able to enjoy the town was just what we needed. I highly recommend a visit, if you can't go by water, its worth the drive as well.

  Great Stay

  Spent a winter weekend at Smithfield Station. What a great place. the rooms are fantastic - all with great views, the staff was super friendly. We ate in the restaurant and it was fantastic. Great dinner and Sunday brunch - highly recommend both. Unfortunately the weather was crappy - so we'll have to go back! Lots to see in the are - great little town for a weekend get away.

  we stayed in a lighthouse!

  room, restaurant, shops all together in one location was very convenient. we do not have a boat but the marina was well kept and staying in a lighthouse was worth a few extra dollars for a lifetime experience.!
