  Todo funciona muy bien

  Sin destacar en ningun punto en especial todo funciona de maravilla. el colchon de los hoteles Sofitel es una maravilla, asi como, el desayuno. Por cierto, gracias por el upgrade, el cuarto era espectacular.

  pleasant stay but breakfast can be better

  Overall have a pleasant stay. Check in is fast, room is nice and clean. But breakfast at Raccines is a let down. Portion is small and have to wait extremely long for food to be served. Some items were not delivered. Maybe there are not enough staff on duty. Can consider having a larger portion to avoid repeating order if insufficient staff. Some staff does not seem happy when I reminded them about my order. Somehow, I don't feel happy after I left the restaurant. The club lounge was very good. Service was really good. Can add a few more items to improve on the food variety. I find this to be a nice hotel to relax, and the check in staff are very pleasant to start my staycation with, but its a pity the breakfast was such a let down.

  Good hotel to stay

  The hotel is located at prime area and just on top of the mrt. Breadfast is good and Racines restaurant should include more variety of food. The room is clean and spacious. The tea and coffee add perfect to the delux room. Recommend friend to stay when the price is right.

  So so only.

  I had no complaint on the room, really nice huge room. Awesome tea n nespresso coffee maker in the room! Just disappointed with the canapes served in the lounge and reduced to one hour service. There is no cheese being offered! Breakfast is served ala carte using mobile, but I still prefered the old buffet style. Limitation to few choices. So long queue from 8am onwards, seems like busy with locals staying. Few orders were missed out from my order, never arrived! No greeting even as a silver member when I checked in, and no late check-out. Usually I do not book local staycation, but this time I need to book to extend my points expiring in April. And the promo for Accor Plus for two nights were only $270! Less the service expectation. Still not received my earned points after check out. But it is very easy assess from Tanjong Pagar mrt straight to 5th floor check-in. Will try another Accor local stay to compare next time.

  2N Sofitel Staycation

  2nd stay during this covid period, first stay was late 2020. Room: Great as usual with comfy bed, slippers, good controls, nespresso machine and nice bathroom. Comfortable and always nice to relax in the bathtub. Lounge: Open from day till night for non-alcoholic refreshments (coffee, tea, good variety of juices). Lounge has nice ambience and views. Service is prompt and friendly. House pours, wine and champagne served during the evening. Food quality is acceptable with some variety, overall this ranks the middle from my experience as compared to other 5 star hotels. Breakfast: Long queue when going for breakfast around 8.30am, waited for around 20min the first day, went earlier the next day to avoid queue. Not sure whether the spike is due to recent promotions or school holidays period. If crowd is anticipated, better to implement time slots although I understand it can be hard to enforce looking at how patrons also stay in the area for a long time. Breakfast quality and variety has reduced as compared to my previous stay late 2020 (also covid period). Main course selection is now limited to one per person (though this is a recent trend across hotels...) I understand this but if this is the case, the main course can be improved: Poached eggs does not come with hollandaise sauce (ok my bad to assume since I had eggs benedict the last time), Nasi Lemak served with popcorn chicken? Plain porridge without fish/meat/century egg? As for side dishes, they are ok and are portioned per person to avoid waste. Can always order more. As for ordering through the app, I would say it is a very good implementation. Raccines also utilize the same for dining in for lunch/dinner/takeaway, very convenient contactless ordering. In summary I would say overall it is a very good value with the recent promotions. Still looking forward to my next stay.
