Next to SchonbrunnThe hotel is situated in a quiet area, in a park, near Schonbrunn palace and I enjoyed the peace during the night. The rooms offer a cozy atmosphere with a park view. they don't offer a mini bar. The breakfast is average and the service is good. The big conference building next to the hotel is very beautiful with an interesting architecture and it offers great opportunity for different meetings. A 5 minutes walk in the garden takes to a door entrance just near Gloriette. Interesting bars and restaurants nearby the hotel.

Fraudlent and unprofessional management has spoiled our family vacation. We were on our family vacation with our kid. We booked a double room with an extra bed at this hotel (via Booking), because it was in the perfect location, looked nice, and had great reviews. But when we arrived we were told that extra bed was not available, so they couldn't host us and couldn't make a complete refund, because we had used a non-refundable option at Booking (we really did). The details: - the 2+1 room (double with extra bed) was advertised on booking.com - we booked a room about 9:00am staying in Krakow right before heading out to Vienna - we left hotel in Krakow around 10:00am, having no feedback from the hotel (no word that our booking is not valid) - we arrived about 3:00pm, and were told that no extra beds were available. We were also told that we were informed about that via e-mail. - being at the hotel reception I checked my e-mails, and, indeed, around 12:30pm I got a message saying that room we requested was not available, i.e. it took hotel 3.5 hours to let me know that room they advertised, in fact, was not available. Also 3 minutes after the e-mail above was sent to me, my credit card was charged. But I was unaware as I was offline driving from Krakow to Vienna. - when I asked about refund, the receptions told it was not possible, because it was not their fault. The receptionist tried to call her manager, with no luck, so she left her a message, and asked us to wait in the hotel lobby. - taking into account that rooms supply (in our price range) in Vienna was decreasing every hour (about 20 options at 7am; 15 options at 9am, when I booked; and 6 options at 3pm), there was a risk to stay with no options at all. So I decided not to wait anymore and booked a room in another hotel. It took me 15-20 minutes. - 35 minutes after our arrival the manager called back, and the receptionist offered us an additional single room for free, which was not great for 2 reasons: (1) staying in separate rooms was not the way how we planned to spend our family vacation (2) reaction time was not good again. The conclusions: 1. The hotel clearly listed at booking.com the option they, in fact, couldn't offer 2. In 21st century, in a digital world, making a client to call the hotel and ask "Could you please confirm that you really can offer an extra bed in a room, as you advertise at Booking?" seems a bit strange to me. 3. Charging a client for the service the hotel can not provide, and not offering a refund (because it's non refundable option), looks totally fraudlent and definitely not customer focused. WARNING: Just in case you decide to book this hotel traveling with kids, ALWAYS double check (via phone call) if the option they advertise is really available.

Conference hotelLocation is nice, conference facilities are satisfactory, food in the hotel restaurant is fine (not as in fine dining, but as in you are not going to complain), staff does what they need to do, so... Overall experience? I was there and have no complaints but won't remember the name tomorrow...

Simple but nice hotelFor me location was very good, but maybe not be for other. Nice and quiet. Facilities simple, but rooms nice and clean and good wifi. Thank goodness for uber as it is quite a walk to go anywhere. Beware they shut the doors at 11:00 p.m., but your key can open the front door as well.
