Ideally located for visiting St. Andrews, the home of Golf, which is only 6 miles away. With the adjacent landscaped gardens, St. Michaels makes an ideal venue for any special occasion.The Inn is 200 years old and was formerly a coaching inn. We are constantly upgrading our rooms and adding extra facilities.The spacious self - contained function suite can accommodate up to 150 guests for a sit - down meal, and with the adjacent landscaped gardens the inn is the perfect venue for special occasions.Our small restaurant and cosy lounge bar offer a relaxing and enjoyable time, with high quality food and drink.Close by is St. Andrews, a university town with its combination of Medieval, Victorian and Edwardian streets making it one of the most attractive towns in Scotland. Please note the St Michaels Inn is over 200 years old, the accomodation is all on the first floor and is accessed by means of the original stair, It has not been possible to install a lift and guests with restricted mobility would perhaps find the St Michaels upper level difficult to negotiate.

    Highly recommended!!

    This is a very charming b&b with staff to match. The room was very clean, the beds were really comfy. The continental breakfast consisted of selection of cereals, yoghurts and toast. If you stay here then you must eat in the restaurant. Really good home cooked meals and the deserts were amazing! (See my photo). Nice atmosphere and really friendly staff, even a bar complete with pool table. I highly recommend this b&b.

    Fabulous local produce and excellent quality and staff very efficient , recommend this place as you wont be dissapointed better to booked as its always very busy at meal times but they serve food all day and a bit quieter at off peak times , can not fault this place ..

    Warm welcome and great service.

    Out for the day with my Dad. Everywhere in St Andrews was packed so we didnt stay and decided to return home to Perth. Called into the Inn to see if they had a table and although very busy they were very welcoming and found one for us. Great choice on the menu from snacks to full meals. Dad had scampi which was a generous portion of large scampi, my husband had steak pie which he said was very tasty,I had seafood crepe which was packed with seafood in a creamy sauce. Didnt have dessert but the ones going past looked lovely. Stayed to have a coffee and didnt feel rushed at all.

    Excellent meal

    My wife and I ate here just after it reopened, as usual the food was excellent and the service just the same. They have reopened with very good Covid measures in place including a good distance between tables. If your in the area call in and support them, you wont be disappointed.

    Wonderful food served in pleasant surroundings and within easy reach of other attractions. Very efficient serving and good sized portions. COVID restrictions are in place but did not detract from our enjoyment.
