  Cleanliness of Room

  Firstly, the cooked breakfast was nice however, I had to pay extra for tomato, mushrooms etc. I will admit that I was advised of this when I checked in but did think I would have a bigger serve overall. When purchasing your Travel Auction - in the information section it clearly states "Pets permitted - 1 pet friendly room is available for an extra $25 per pet per night". This information is there for you to read prior to purchasing with Travel Auction. I was unhappy with the cleaning because I used a cake of soap provided and when I returned to the room on the second day it was left there as was the soap marks surrounding the basin. I had also washed my dog's meat bowl in the bathroom and had not noticed that some blood had splashed on the tiles. When I returned to the room after it was supposedly cleaned, there was blood still on the tiles - GROSS! I will also add that it looked like only a couple of other rooms were occupied so the cleaner had more than enough time to do a proper clean.

  A short stay

  Although we only stayed for 1 night, the room was very well prepared for us. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is a great size as was the bed/living area. With the option of coffee on the verandah weather permitting. Staff were very pleasant and a continental breakfast was included as we had stayed there previously. Highly recommended

  Weekend saty

  This is a lovely run motel Stayed here over the weekend. Staff are lovely and very accomodating. The breakfast was great i had extra mushrooms. highly recommend staying here. Easy walking distance to town,quiet and comfortable.

  Strath Motel Strathalbyn SA

  The room was very clean, including the bathroom. There was a microwave in the room but no plates or cutlery seemed to be supplied to get good use of it. Same with there being a toaster. We didn't realise we had to supply our own plates etc. Perhaps we should have asked but there was no notice in the room to advise us of this facility. The garden was well maintained and very attractive. The entire building was spotless on the outside.

  Great motel

  Had a great overnight stay in a very well appointed large room. Great bed and excellent bathroom. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely hot food. Easy to drive to and good parking available. Within easy walking distance to the town.
