Bad ManagementOn 14 February 2015, I held my wedding at this villa. To prevent interference from other guests staying at the villa, I eventually block the whole villa to put my family and my partner's family. Since my booking from November 2014, they did not follow me up until two days before my wedding. From the last meeting in December 2014, I was promised a lot of things by the management, which turns on my wedding day all the promise did not happen. My disappointment grew when we check out from the villa, my wife and I missed the things at the villa. When the next day we contact the villa, they told me that they could not find our belongings were left behind. While we remember that the items are left in the villa. If you want to hold a wedding at Villa Suarti, they have a nice venue. Just use the decorations and wedding organizer from outside. STAY AT THIS VILLA IS A JOKE. It is not recommended to stay in this villa, unless they've changed all the people who are in management.

Peaceful place with nice managementWe stayed one night in the house during our road trip through the east coast. It's a very big house with interesting art and design directly by the sea and the black sand. There weren't many guest so we had the place almost to ourselves - which was nice and very relaxing. The staff was very helpful and prepared a very good dinner and breakfast for us. Furthermore we enjoyed a sunrise yoga/ meditation session which we enjoyed a lot. Be prepared that there is not much to do/see around, so perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the breeze of the sea.

Not what it seemsFirst, I would like to say that the staff were so lovely and helpful they do not deserve this rating, and I feel really bad for giving such a low rating because of how lovely they were. If it weren't for them I would give this place a 1. We spent a week trying to get in touch with Suarti trying to arrange the airport pick up (complimentary with room). Their phone numbers were not working and they would hang up on WOTIF (middleman we booked through) because they were fed up with not being able to understand English. We did not receive an airport transfer from them and had to arrange our own transport. This hotel is more like a run down airbnb. It is very far from Seminyak/Kuta, around 1 hour 45 min one way. They did allow us to use grab (online taxi like uber) Room 2 was spacious and had a lovely view. Air con worked really well. However, the place was not fully cleaned by the time of our check in and there were roaches on two separate occasions. There was dirt and crusty stains in the bathroom. There were flax shoes provided but they were used, stretched and dirty. We were not able to use the shower because the hose would constantly detach. There would be water marks on mirror in the bathroom and the toilet would sometimes not fill up correctly after flushing. We had to lift the lid on the toilet and adjust it before the toilet would begin to fill again. Room was not cleaned during our 4 night stay and we had to ask for more toilet paper when we ran out. We were provided with coffee, fruit and fried banana while waiting for our tour driver despite not having time for the breakfast. Breakfast however is Indonesian (only offered American breakfast once) - rice or noodles. It is a place in the countryside so is very quite and peaceful. 25min drive to Sanur, closest place with stuff to do. While there were negatives about this place, the staff's positivity left a good impression on us. We gave this place an honest go on trying to like it but unfortunately we left disappointed.

Old but well maintained, this resort is close to the beach, but we cant swim there if you are not professional. The staff is nice, but it will be more nice if they can speak english. breakfast was nice, but we have to request other menu however they will serve you same food everyday. Pool was nice and its only 8 rooms, so the resort is so quiet. good for gateway.
