  Good hotel in the Ba Dinh area

  This hotel is close to the Lotte Center but a good 10-15 minutes taxi ride to the Old Quarter. It is by a major road but the windows are well insulated so no road noise, though there seems to be a lot of banging during the day. Very quiet at night. Rooms vary greatly in space and quality. They are a bit on the basic side: no safe, no drawers to unpack, which is inconvenient if one stays longer than a couple nights. Good breakfast, omelets on demand. Nice staff. Very clean. Comfortable bed.

  Nice Hotel, OK Location

  We stayed here because our friend said to stay in this area since he lives nearby. The hotel was nice, rooms were good, great service. However we spent most of our time in the Old Quarter, so we had to Uber there and back each day. If you need to stay in this area, it's a great choice.

  So bad!

  We have to go to Ha Noi. I booked 1 room price is 1,2 millions VND and paid at Agoda.I booked room at 2pm. And 10:30PM i came. But Reception said sorry because they didn't seen my booking. And they was full room. So, they sent me to other hotel same company but that hotel cheap more Sunny hotel. We need to accept that. Because too late for find new hotel. I'm a little disappointed. I hope they can change their style.

  Sunny "Hell"

  Arrived to the non air conditioned stifling lobby to check into the "Sunny" hotel. As they say, the best disinfectant is sunlight and well it showed in this 2 Star wonder. The internet worked intermittent and when it worked it was for a few minutes at such a slow rate that my e-mail would error out. I checked in and went to my room and got settled into my bed. I felt something poking my leg. I reached down and to my horror they were toe nail clippings! Well, at least it was not a hypodermic needle? The pillow was lumpy and smelled like mildew, and the morning could not come quick enough. The morning arrives and I go upstairs to the breakfast. The food was not of good quality and limited. When I opened the lid to the bacon it was a scary sight of severely undercooked bacon that was basically a greasy clump of undercooked fat. I went to work that morning and came back and asked for a 2nd card key. They did not want to give it to me and told me only 1 card per room . Reason, due to wanting guests to take the card key in the room so the the air-con would shut down. The stifling hot rooms would take nearly 90 minutes to fully cool. In the meantime you feel like a baked potato in the room. I left the Sunny "Hell", checked out early after first night, and went to the JW Marriott where I received incredible service and much cleaner and nicer faculty and can leave my aircon on and have good bacon and a clean and very comfortable bed and pillow with dependable and fast internet. Thank you JW Marriott for making the rest of my stay so wonderful in Hanoi.

  Very unfriendly staff!

  Our room was quite big and clean! He guys at the reception were very unfriendly and could not help us with anything. Breakfast very poor compared to the price. There are surely better hotel than this one in Hanoi.
