  Very Good Hotel

  The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small and very traditional but clean and comfortable. The WIFI is pretty slow but that was my only complain. Highly recommend. We opted for the included breakfast which I would not do again. They have a Jonathon's restaurant on the second floor which is where you go for the breakfast but you are limit to a choice of 4 breakfast combos. We were there for over a week so it got old. We only save about $1 per meal so don't bother. Just go to the restaurant and order anything you want off the menu. There is also a great bakery across the street for additional breakfast options. Hotel is on the same block as the Ginza train line which gives you good access to the city.

  not very friendly!

  The room is alright, small but neat. Free wifi and close to the subways. There are shops around too. But some of the staffs are just not nice (or rude). I was in cafe Jonathan wanted to have a cup of tea. The waiter tried to explain to me about drink bar, I apologised to him that I couldnt quite understand him, he got frustrated and then instead of get someone else to attend me, he walked away. I was irritated with his attitude! And the female receptionist stared at me quite frustrated looking when I asked if there was a laundromat around. She wasnt very friendly. The English understandings are very minimal. Sometimes they made me feel like, well, why cant you speak Japanese?! Definitely not again.

  Nice budget hotel

  Stayed 3 nights on 2 occasions. Location is great in central Asakusa Has 2 restaurants for breakfast options which were really good. Rooms are cosy but perfectly acceptable and clean also had nice view. Air con is nice and cold which with the humidity is a 100% must. Staff were super helpful and very friendly can also arrange Yamato luggage transfer. Easy to get to from Tokyo main station and very close to Asakusa station and another one for getting around Tokyo city. Good value and would stay again thank you.

  Perfect Stay :)

  1st, travelling to Tokyo in the middle of summer is not recommended. Altho, it still has its beautiful charm, the heat is unbearable. 2nd, Hotel Sunroute Asakusa was a relief after a day of roaming around Tokyo for business meetings. Staff is very friendly. Wide and open spaces. For single travellers, make sure to book the modern Japanese room. Very very cozy. And a great view of the Oshiage! 3rd, breakfast at Jonathans is satisfying! Full range of an Asian breakfast. I highly recommend booking here during long stays.

  Perfect Location

  Hotel was conveniently located near many main attractions. Rooms were decent size for Tokyo and good value. Restaurants were good and priced right. Hotel perfect for solo traveler and would be OK for a couple. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful contrary to other posted reviews. Would recommend and visit again.
