  Hotel idílico y servicio espectacular

  Pequeño y coqueto hotel. Solo 4 habitaciones en un entorno bellísimo y muy bien cuidado. Especial mención el servicio y trato de Mr. LHan, detallista y preocupado por los pequeños detalles y atenciones. Ideal para parejas y familias.

  Excellent Service, Nice accommodations

  We stayed 3 families of friends in the villa. The rooms are spacious. Breakfast was excellent and the owners really nice. You need to be aware that it is a bit outside of town center and that in spite of booking.com recommendation it has space for up to 10 people.

  Not up to description

  This hotel is far from good value. Mr Sorn the on-site manager tries his best to keep you happy but the hotel has a much embroidered description of facilities and you need to be profoundly deaf to get any sleep. Situated down a dirt road just out of town, surrounded by rural residents who whilst charming keep a large pack of dogs who like to bark through the night accompanied by flocks of chickens that start to crow from about 04:30. No restaurant or bar, minimal choice in the room refrigerator. Great views across the river, pleasant gardens and pool. Far better value ($US 243 per night) to be found in Luang Prabang

  Lovely Oasis on the River

  We loved our stay at the Villa - returning there after a day of sightseeing for a swim in the pool and a sit on the balcony overlooking the river and the Frangipini trees at sunset was ideal. Mr. Sorn was gracious and accommodating, even gave us a local phone to call him 24/7. Service was excellent. Breakfast served to our room was delicious and the decor of the suite very pretty. We didn't mind being out of town because we enjoyed the bike ride to and from the Villa. Yes its in the middle of a neighborhood and so there was noise - dogs, crying babies, chickens and the odd karaoke party.....but we felt it was part of the Laos experience. Bring good earplugs and have a Lao whiskey and you'll sleep fine. When at the Villa you have use of the main hotel in town - we were offered a complimentary river sunset cruise on our last night - with wonderful service by Mr. Bee and Mr. Poxiog, a highlight of our trip to Laung Prabang. Also has a discount at the Burasari spa - divine massage. Thanks to all the lovely Burasari staff for an unforgettable 5 days.

  We enjoyed the Sunset villa very much. Personal great service by Mr Sorn and the location on the river is what you want here. The lack of service with regards to drinks/dining has been noted by others, but the most important news I can give you is that it has been sold to the owner of the hotel right next to it (and with which the pool is shared). Come October 2020 the new owner will take over and hopefully put some TLC in this place as the location is great (yes people, some nights noisy, immerse yourself in local life or stay away) the building and rooms good, but let down by maintenance.
