  Great Experience

  We've stayed in a dozen or so locally owned resorts throughout Central America and Table Rock was by far our favorite. The lodges, the grounds, the restaurant, and the staff were all above and beyond any expectations we had before arriving.

  Great choice!

  Colleen and the staff at Table Rock do a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome and catering to every wish. I have been to several in the area and this jungle lodge is in my opinion the best of the bunch!

  Such an amazing Jungle Resort!!!

  We loved this place, it really feels like you are staying in the jungle. We came when it was sort of raining loved hearing the rain all around us, especially at night. The temperature was comfortable, and plenty blankets at hand. We had such a lovely personal experience by the lady who works there, Karla! She was a superwoman handling everything and being everywhere at the same time! She was always giving us tips and advice and she has a wealth of knowledge about the plants and wildlife. Her own stories of growing up in the countryside in Belize were fun to hear. My kids adored the animals. Everyday they wanted to feed them. Sammys place was a fun place to swing, the kiddy cabin could have benefited with a sweep though. We also did a night hike and saw some tarantulas and wolf spiders. The infinite pool is beautiful, though pretty cold because we went in December however we braved the cold and went in and still enjoyed it. We did canoe to Cha Cha creek resort. we got off on an earlier platform due to stronger current that day. But we made it to the resort via a long hike through the jungle, the path was marked as a medicinal plant trail. We did the butterfly tour at the resort and also had dessert and snacks at their restaurant which was so delicious! We stayed at the Rainforest Cabin at the lodge because it had an extra bedroom. The extra room had a bunk bed which suited our kids. There was one bathroom we all shared. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. We would sit in the balcony early morning on the sofas, cuddling with some blankets, and listening to all the birds and wildlife around us. The bugs got us at night and my husband got bug blisters on his hand. I think the netting has some gaps, which I tried to plug with tissue paper, but Im not sure if it is all that preventable while you stay in a jungle. I and kids were spared mostly I stayed under covers. The shower hot water, was an issue in our room, the knob had came off and also hot water would come for like 5 min... so we had to take a quick one... but I guess it is an eco-lodge! Someone did come to check it and try to fix it. Due to humidity nothing will air dry but their laundry service was so quick and efficient and they brought us our laundry back same day! The dining area is gorgeous! They always had a table reserved for us. We always ended up having breakfast there. The veggie omelette was so yummy and I would also get jam and toast sometimes. The kids enjoyed their pancakes though felt they were a little saltier than what mommy makes them. They always had a menu available for our dietary needs. The fish and shrimps we had were also good at dinner time. We are wanting to return. My son is really missing the donkeys! This time I think we will get the newer cabins with the river view and ask to have an additional cot. We really recommend this adorable place if you want to have a feeling that you are really in the jungle and also enjoy the friendly Belize hospitality!

  Amazing property, staff and food

  We stayed 5 days in the Great Curassow cottage in January, 2021. The property is amazing with a lot of room to hike, bird, canoe or relax by the amazing infinity pool. The staff is wonderful and seamlessly set us up with two excursions (birding and horseback riding). The food is excellent and served in a beautiful open air covered deck with a bar. We would definitely return to Table Rock. Tourism is way down due to Covid, which is devastating for the tour industry but a little silver lining for the tourists. We felt very Covid safe throughout our Belize trip including the transportation, excursions and accommodations. We were in the country a total of two weeks.

  Hidden Gem!

  What an incredible property. From the relaxing hammocks under a palapa, to the jungle infinity pool and luxurious rooms. Each cabin is nestled amidst a lush jungle setting, they're furnished with authentic natural decor, exposed stone & lots of n and furnished authentically and natural. The sounds of the howler monkeys, birds & cicadas are wonderful, making a truly authentic and luxurious experience.
