  ¡Excelente!

  Mi hijo y yo pasamos una semana viajando de arriba a abajo por el Peloponeso. Nos hospedamos en el hotel Taletón y la impresión que nos llevamos fue la mejor: el personal muy amable y atento. La atención de primera, el desayuno simplemente una delicia. Sólo puedo recomendar éste maravilloso lugar frente a las montañas del Taygeto al 100%. Saludos desde Berlín: Mariela & Moritz

  Alojamiento de calidad y espacioso, con un buen desayuno.

  Es un alojamiento recomendable con una buena relación calidad/precio. El desayuno fue muy bueno, especialmente las mermeladas caseras. Si quieres café expreso, lo tienes que pagar aparte, lo que no me parece correcto en un hotel de esta categoría.

  Wonderful hotel in a very tranquil setting

  We stayed at this hotel for a night. A bit away from the city lights, this hotel is located in a village about 25 km from Sparta. Very quiet and peaceful. The rooms were double floored and spacious. The staff were friendly. There village had a few good restaurants. It was a nice quiet walk around the country. Breakfast was good with fresh orange juice, and the regular stuff. Parking is right in front of the hotel. Overall a good experience. Will recommend.

  An excellent relaxing hotel in Xirokambi

  The hotel is situated approximately 30 seconds walk from the main square of Xirokambi. Xirokambi is not a big place, but it is full of life in the evenings, and the main square is a pleasant place to be. It also has a good selection of cafes and restaurants to choose from, as well as a pharmacy and general shops. All in all a good place to be based. The architecture in the village is interesting, not forgetting one of the oldest bridges in the world (105 BC) is actually situated in the village. As for the hotel itself, I found it to be quite unique. The majority of the rooms are situated with their doors onto a communal courtyard. The courtyard is private to the hotel, and contains wooden tables and chairs for the guests to sit on, it has a fountain / pond at one end, and trees/plants provide some shade from the sun. The trickling water from the fountain, and other notable things such as the smell of jasmine at night, made it a really relaxing place to sit. The rooms (I think all of them) are split level. So you sleep on the first floor and other rooms (bathroom, kitchen (if your room has one) and lounge) are on the ground floor. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. Really nice. One other thing to note about the rooms is they are really well insulated from noise, so it was easy to get a good nights sleep. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom, room cleaned every day. Great stuff. Breakfast is included. You have access to fried eggs, omelette (plus other types of eggs depending on the day), cheese, ham, bread, home made jams, cereal, coffee, fresh orange juice etc. etc.....but the important thing is that it is fresh, and done well. The eggs are freshly cooked and organic, the jams are homemade, the bread is fresh, the juice is freshly squeezed etc. The staff/owners are great. Always willing to help, and just generally pleasant to be around. Examples: came back to the hotel one night with a melon. Asked for a knife and plate to cut it, which they brought...along with a plate full of fresh figs! We also had to leave early on the day we left (before breakfast), so they were quick to suggest they prepare something to take with us in the morning. As i said great people! I should also mention that the hotel is great if you have a dog. They are very well equipped (and willing). For people that don't have a dog and think they might not go because there might be dogs there: Did my room (or the hotel in general) smell of dog or have dog hair in when I arrived? No. Was the hotel full of dogs constantly barking? No. Were there dogs running around everywhere? No. Basically if you have a dog the hotel is great, and if you don't it is also great! I could probably say more but I think it's enough! Would go back in a heartbeat.

  A fascinating hotel in a very charming village

  Xirocampos is a very nice small village near Sparti. If you have to stop in this area, I strongly suggest to spend the night in this very nice hotel and walk in the village where you will find very good food and wine.
