  Love the DeSoto

  With a daughter enrolled in SCAD, we've been visiting Savannah for years now, and without hesitation, we wholeheartedly endorse The DeSoto as the best choice for hotel stay in the historic district. We've stayed other places, and there are plenty of lovely choices. But none make you feel personally valued and welcome back like The DeSoto. They do their level best to be helpful, friendly and courteous. The rooms are gorgeous and always clean. The food is delicious, and the cocktails in the bar are sublime.

  Top Notch Food & Service

  And excellent experience! The brussels sprouts were out of this world as was the Caesar salad with chicken. What really made it special was the excellent, kind,attention of our server, Alyssa, a gal who clearly loves her job. We are coming back!!

  LOVED The Desoto

  We are returning home from what was an amazing stay in Savannah. The Desoto by far exceeded all my expectations. The hotel upgraded our room free of charge due to it being our anniversary. The room was absolutely gorgeous, clean and had the best view in all of Savannah. The balcony was awesome. The bed was so comfortable. I would actually like to know what beds they use because they were that comfortable. The waitress at Proof and Provision was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Amanda, ensured our every need was met and that we were satisfied during every part of our stay. Lastly, the location was superb. Was wishing close walking distance to everything. We will absolutely be staying at this hotel again and will definitely be recommending it to others. Thank you for making our 20 year anniversary get away so special.

  3rd Time in Savannah, 3rd Time at the DeSoto. Never choosing another place!

  My fiance and I always to stay at the DeSoto; it's beautiful, clean, with friendly staff and absolutely gorgeous views. We've stayed in both the Kings corner balcony suite and a standard double bed and both of them were absolutely beautiful, and the views were unbeatable. It's in the heart of the historic district which means no matter what you are in the mood for it's literally just a short walk down the street; be it food, drinks, Leopold's Ice cream, a beautiful look at the cathedral or maybe walking around and seeing some of the city's history. It's all right around the corner! I highly recommend the DeSoto, and honestly I'm a little sad that there are other places in the city that we want to stay because that means that we'll have to book someplace different at some point!

  Great location!

  We love this hotel in the heart of the city! Perfectly located between the river walk and Forsyth park so we can walk whichever direction we desire:) With our favorite bookstore just below and so many great restaurants & shops around this is a great area to walk endlessly. Edgars Provisions below has great to go food or you can eat there if you desire. Great old Fashioneds available to go as you walk the city - yes you can walk with cocktails in hand!
