  Hotel muy lujoso y cómodo y todos pero todos muy amables ....volveríamos sin dudas....espectacular paisaje....un poco caro pero lo vale....habitación muy cómoda y elegante .....buena cama buen baño y buena decoración y muy buen desayuno

  Hospitality and the property to the perfection

  We have been staying in the Oberoi Cecil from the last 10 years and would say that every year the hospitality of the staff is beyond comparison. The entire team of the hotel right from the front gate to everything is perfect. We were impressed with the Chef Raj Kumar for his excellent prepartions and the smiling service by his entire team. We were there to celebrate our dad's 69th Bday and the same was made memorable by the entire team. The F&B manager Nilesh and his entire team was very courteous for everything. We would surely want to go back again soon. Shivam at the bar was amazing. Vineet served us in the restaurant with a big smile. There is nothing as NO for the entire team. They just look forward to a big YES to all the guests. Also there was a gift from the housekeeping team on the checkout date which is also quite memorable. A big thanks to the entire team for all the efforts even in the Covid times. All the best and keep it up.

  Marvellous experience at Oberoi Cecil

  We stayed for 3 nights at oberoi cecil .We travelled with our 18 months old son, therefore we had special food requests for our son and all our needs were taken by Sous Chef Rajkumar Bhatia personally . Chef Rajkumar made sure that everything is being served with utmost quality and precision. Nonetheless , breakfast buffet was lavish and Restaurant at Cecil is the bestest in food, be it vegetarian or non veg food. Entire staff went extra mile for every single thing and they were very keen when it comes to paying attention to detail. So our overall experience was very warming.

  Impeccable stay and food (by Chef Rajkumar).

  The Cecil is a different world all together! It's humongous and beautiful, service is of the highest standards and the food by Chef Rajkumar is flawless! Chef Raj took special interest in getting to know our choices and then out did himself in delivering each and every dish. His desserts are to die for! A big thanks to Dipika (Manager, Front desk) and the rest of the staff as well, in making our stay a memorable one. It's a must stop in Shimla

  Amazing and Overall Memorable Experience!

  Have few words to describe my stay at the Cecil with family. From the moment we stepped inside the hotel, we were greeted by a bunch of welcoming and smiling faces ready to cater to our every need. All the staff were extremely cooperative. I was feeling a bit nauseous from the drive up and the staff wasted no time at all to make me feel at home. Shivam was extremely helpful: hovering near my room, and bringing me drinks from the kitchen to help alleviate nausea. He also continued to ask me about my health. Yash, Ajay and Karki were simply amazing, listening to all our queries about the different dishes and helping us decide what to try. In the kitchen, Chef Rajkumar was kind enough to give us a cooking class where we tasted authentic Himachali dishes! He also continued to greet us personally throughout all our meals. He also prepared us a special dinner on our anniversary night! Overall, the Cecil is unique! Unique not only because of the beauty of the property but also because of the hospitality of the staff. Truly a must stay for anyone visiting Shimla!
