  Hotel restaurant/ room

  Welcoming and pleasant decor in the restaurant, friendly helpful staff,with limited English but we managed to communicate. Evening meal was very good, and presentation of food was good. Breakfast was fine but not a lot of choice available. Walking distance to main tourist sites. Room was basic but clean and comfortable

  Location but for us, nothing else

  Was recommended this city and hotel by a manager in another Inter Hotel. So we called in and took a room. All I can say is that the manager who recommended it, must never have seen the rooms. The city is great, the hotel is in a good location, just a 5/10 minute walk from the old town. But that is where the good news ends. The room was badly in need of a renovation. The bathroom needs a total replacement - think state of the art in the 1970s (but worn and tired). A good job there was a shower in the bath, because you would not sit in it - the enamel all worn, streaked, and grey. Window frames were rotten and tiles were loose and grouting was grey (yuck). Bedroom was dated (particularly lights and furniture). The room was clean however - but this is a minimum. The receptionist was really interested nor friendly - if he had been this may have made up for other shortcomings. Breakfast selection was just ok (had a lot better in previous nights Inter Hotel). Think you could do a lot better with other hotels which have as good a location.

  Excellent breakfast and central location

  Stayed here whilst walking Le Chemin de Compostelle. Unfortunately our room faced the main road and was very noisy. The hotel is comfortable and clean and the staff helpful and nice. Food was very good and breakfast was excellent. The hotel is very nice inside and the outside doesn't do it justice.

  Convenient and friendly

  Central hotel with parking at the back for small cars. It's a bit narrow for larger vehicles. Staff very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Bedrooms okay with nice solid beds but no A/Cs or fans in temperatures of over 30oC. Breakfast rather basic but adequate.

  Good stay although bit dated

  We stayed in Hotel Bristol for one night. The staff was really helpful. The room was large enough, though it was a bit dated, especially the bathroom. For us that wasn't a problem though. It also has a place to sit outside. The restaurant did seem to be renovated not too long ago as it had a cosy bistro feel to it. The location is excellent as was the breakfast.
