  Para amantes de la naturaleza.

  Ubicado en medio de la selva, al lado de una plantacion de te, una experiencia inolvidable y magnifica para los amantes de la naturaleza y el senderismo. Las habitaciones son muy acogedora y el personal muy atento y acogedor. Solo necesita disponer de WIFI.

  Authentic Rainforest experience

  This hotel delivered on its promise of an authentic experience. The experience I had was really memorable. The staff and food was of the highest standards. I must mention Rohan from the Restaurant as a person who really took interest in ensuring my family felt at home. The only negative is the road leading up to the hotel. Since there is at least 8 kilometres of really awful road an off road vehicle is recommended or at least a vehicle with a high ground clearance. All in all the stay for me an my family was fantastic and memorable.

  The Perfect Getaway into the wild!

  This was one of the best trip experience our family had. Starting off with the service provided, it was superb and we were all satisfied. A very big thank you to the F&B supervisor and a special thanks to Shanaka (Front office executive). We also had the opportunity to go on a very adventurous forest trail, it was educational and the trekker was amazing he gave us all the information and educational facts about the Sinharaja Rainforest as we travelled and most importantly cautionary advice in terms of creatures in the forest. The atmosphere is out of this world, the weather is quite cold during the night. Overall the Rainforest Ecolodge is a highly recommended hotel and it is a must visit to all nature lovers and to anyone who's looking for the perfect getaway from the busy cities!

  Beautiful Scenery with Ideal Rainforest Experience

  The key attraction of the hotel is the location. On top of a mountain in the middle of the Sinharaja forest. If you are looking for a cosy stay surrounded by nature, this is the spot! Heads up on the road to the hotel, its about a 1 hour rough ride up the hill, so if you going in a car be cautions and my advice is NOT to travel at night. The food was good, it was a set menu but had variety of choices. The trek was great and educational, had a lovely waterfall - highlight of the trek. ( Be careful of Leeches, take Siddhalepa or Dettol water with you) Overall great stay, perfect for couples, good food and can have a relaxing time!

  Great birdlife and fantastic food

  Our stay at the Rainforest ecolodge was a very pleasant one from the get go. The rooms were small, yet comfy and clean, with the outdoor deck providing a nice viewpoint for an evening drink overlooking the lush rainforest. Our guide Jagath, with whom we did several excursions, was very knowledgable and enthusiastic, and he certainly went out of his way to make our experience an enjoyable one. This included a night walking experience which lasted till close to midnight, despite him having a 5 am start the next morning. The highlight of our stay at the eco lodge was undoubtedly the rice and curry meal they serve up each afternoon. As someone who (unashamedly) travels the length and breadth of Sri Lanka in search of the perfect rice and curry, this one was close to the best I have ever had. I will stop myself there before this becomes a food review, but you get the gist. Overall, our stay here was a great one. The property was lovely, the staff were fantastic, and the food was to die for. Oh, and the the back massage at the Spa is highly recommended as well. We will be back soon.
