  Excellent except for the food

  I was there with my 8 year old son. He loved every moment of our stay. The Hotel is connected underground with the water park so no need to go out to the cold. The water park is great. Inside the hotel there is a pinball, bowling, many video games, tennis court, basketball, soccer, games, playground, everything a kid can imagine. So the hotel infrastructure is great, the downside is that the hotel tries to save money wherever it can. And this shows, this is really a pity. Especially on the food, it is cheap, cheap cheap, little selection, bad quality raw materials used. So in case you are not interested in eating well the hotel is for you.

  Great value for money, excellent for families

  The biggest advantage of the hotel is the huge sport hall and dirrect underground connection with the Sonnentherme aquapark. In sport hall you can keep entertained your children and even yourself for all the day long (tenis, treading cars, playstations, slipways, trampolines etc.). Sennentherme aquapark is amazing. Lot of attractions and ammenitiies for the children, they love it. The hotel rooms are adequate to the price, in the restaurant I would appreciate a larger selection of food. Advantage is that you can choose the restaurants in other hotels around.

  Best mum-kids weekend ever thanks to perfect hotel

  First tried to book this hotel over booking.com. When I had to change the date I simply called them and the very helpful receptionist told me that I would pay far less by choosing another room. So I trusted this guy who really was very capable and friendly. And I didn´t get disappointed ... Upon arrival the receptionist shook hands (which is quite rare nowadays) - but not only with the adults but also with the kids. You could immediately tell that you are in a child-oriented hotel. Lovely! ;-) The rooms were not too big, but fine. We had a double bed plus a kind of sofa bed. Actually this is the only negative aspect about this stay: the sofa bed was extremly uncomfortable and hard so that I nearly was damned to sleep on it - but finally my daughter delivered me from that. We had (on purpose!) a connecting door to the room beside > Only found it a bit irritating that one could not lock this door, but I am sure there would have been a solution in case we would have asked. The indoor playground was just fab - even for us adults. Could have spent hours in there ;-) or even in the restaurant watching through the huge window and drinking... Breakfast, lunch & dinner was a buffett. The meals were just DELICIOUS! We just could not decide what to choose. It was ALL perfect and especially in the evening it had a nice unusual exotic touch. LOVELY! A huge compliment to the kitchen! Staff was always very helpful and I was very impressed when the female boss approached us during the dinner to ask us if we were happy. Another sign of very well customer oriented service which is highly appreciated! Regarding the thermal resort - there is an underground aisle between the resort and the hotel. This is (as with the other hotels around) a big advantage too. So I can absolutely recommend this place to all people travelling with kids - going on my own I´d prefer another place though ;-)

  Great stay for families.

  This hotel offers great stays for families with kids. We stayed there with my sisters family and my nephews really liked the indoor game hall and of course also the aqua park with excellent slides nearby. Food was excellent, service was good. Overall, I can highly recommend this hotel.

  Fine children / tennis hotel

  This is a very good hotel if you have small kids, age 4 to 9, because the place has a free-of-charge indoor game hall. Also, if you want to play tennis, there are indoor/outdoor courts available for free if you are a hotel guest. There is no pool, because the Sun-spa Lutzmannsburg is just 50m away and connected to the hotel by an underground tunnel (approx. 2minutes on foot). Staff and quality is okay but be aware that the food service is not "best of" but rather like you would expect it in a typical Austrian family hotel. But as all drinks are included, you can believe me that you won't stay hungry or thirsty. Still, for the food I'd only assign 3 stars, not 4. But overall, definitely recommendable if you want to visit the spa and have small children with you. If you have very little children (below 3 years) I'd rather recommend the hotel vis-a-vis ("Sonnenpark").
