  excellent

  What a find.we have just returned from 4 nights at the valdene hotel and one word sums it up excellent.from arriving to departing we were made very welcome.the hosts linda and Bob run a gem of a hotel .it was clean comfortable and the breakfast was out of this world.we will definitely stay again.

  Outstanding hotel

  Just got back from a last minute 2 night break here with my young son. Where to start? Absolutely fantastic find in all honesty. Couldn't have been made to feel any more welcome and nothing was too much for the owners, they were fab from start to finish and a real pleasure to chat with. The hotel is spotlessly clean (following COVID guidelines), tidy and well maintained throughout. For the price you pay, it goes above and beyond! This is without a doubt the best place (of many) I've stayed in in Blackpool and I'll be certain to book again for the illuminations later in the year; I wouldn't consider anywhere else. Best find yet on TripAdvisor, you won't be disappointed .

  Bed is awesome.

  We ( My wife, Daughter, and me) stayed here for 4 nights. First, the owners are very Nice , Very proud, of their cute little Hotel. Its clean, its tidy, the breakfast, which you chose on your first day, is perfect. ( I like mushrooms, but hey, its a nice breakfast). The bedroom was tidy, the bed , best sleep I have had in years. Now, the bathroom was a little small, the shower cubicle also, the shower itself got bit getting used to with the balance of scaled or freeze. The TV in our room had to be held at gunpoint to turn on. All that aside, I loved this little hotel. I NEVER give 10/10 to anything, it has to be exceptional, over the top for that. My Rating 8.5/10 would i stay here again? absolutely 100%

  It doesnt get better than this.

  For our first trip to Blackpool we searched Tripadvisor to find a character hotel. We booked the Valdene Hotel after reading its excellent reviews. It didnt disappoint at all. Our hosts Bob and Linda have a real passion for the hotel business and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our room, though small, was beautifully appointed and immaculate, the location was very central and just off the promenade and the breakfast was outstanding. The hotel was charming and full of character. Highly recommended.

  We couldnt fault it

  We stayed for 3 nights and were out pretty much all day but it felt like going home by 9/10 pm. The owners were lovely without that fake must be nice to guests feeling. Despite being hit hard by the lockdown each morning there were new beds arriving and Bob would put down his screwdriver or drill to answer any questions we had. On our last night we ordered a takeaway and they set out plates & cutlery for us & even refrigerated my leftovers to take home. Always better the next day! Honestly,as long as all you want is cleanliness & the best hospitality you wont find better. Even the loo roll was nice!
