  PRECIOSO HOTEL

  En los alrededores de Cochem, no junto al río Mosel, se encuentra este precioso hotel que está muy bien decorado, tiene hermosas habitaciones y una muy buena cocina. Su desayuno es excelente y en las cenas se puede saborear una amplia carta.

  Located at the top of the hill opposite the town! Stunning views.

  Clean, comfortable rooms with view to Mosel River and town of Cochem. Attentive staff, lovely breakfast and dinner. Ping pong table, pool, game room, sauna downstairs. Small library off main lobby. Outdoor space for eating and drinking in good weather. We had an early train returning to Frankfurt. We were told a takeaway breakfast would be prepared and left for us in a small room off the lobby. Yogurt, fruit, coffee and 3 of the most wonderful sandwiches were there. My husband is not a sandwich guy, but we were still sharing them as we boarded our second flight to Iceland.

  Nice hotel, peaceful setting

  Stayed for 2 nights as part of a road trip in the area. The room was simple but nice, as it's in the middle of the woods, it's perfectly silent during the night which is a plus. While outside of town it does provide a restaurant, ample parking and included breakfast for a very reasonable price.

  Nice location, disappointing hotel.

  Stayed at this hotel for two nights whilst travelling in Germany. I picked this hotel as parking was not available at many Cochem hotels in the centre. The hotel is located in in a quiet wooded area about 3km from Cochem. There is plenty of parking available. I arrived thirty minutes before check in and was met by an unfriendly receptionist who told me very abruptly that I was too early to check in and to come back later. the hotel looks very nice, suited to the beautiful wooded area that it sits in, but the reception area and corridors had a dirty damp feeling to them. The room itself was small, adequate but again not the cleanest, I found an old pair of ladies pants behind the dusty sofa bed. The single mattresses were both soft and uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean with a fantastic powerful shower. The bar and restaurant area was better, looked like it had been refurbished, clean and and spacious. I did not eat at the restaurant. There is a nice patio area at the front of the hotel which was ideal for a drink in the sun. Breakfast was adequate, but was served in another room in the back of the hotel which was very dull and dated. The newer light and spacious restaurant area would have been the best place to serve breakfast. The waitress at breakfast was friendly and helpful. We walked in to the centre of Cochem (30 min) which was pleasant on a nice day. A bus runs from the main road at the bottom of the hotel access road (5min walk) Cochem is beautiful with some nice places to eat and drink. I can speak basic German and I would recommend you do too if you want to stay here otherwise the language barrier could be a problem! There is no information in anything other than German (yes I know it is in Germany) I would say this hotel is best suited to walkers and cyclists who are dressed in this attire and are not too fussy about a bit of dust and cobwebs. If you are a couple wanting to go out for the night or a family who wants a bit of help with the language then I would suggest staying in a central Cochem hotel.

  Nice break

  We booked this hotel for 3 nights half board. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay by a night. The hotel is on a quiet road in the middle of the nature with several walks from the door. Very peaceful, though Cochem is only 10 mknutes drive away. Parking in front of the hotel free and without problems. Check in was ok, the receptionist was not around when we arrived at 15.30, so we had a drink outside. The room was fine, at the back of the hotel without a balcony and overlooking the woods and a stream which was very peaceful. The decor was ok, could do with updating but there was plenty of space and the box spring bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was good, lots of hot water and a power shower. Tv only German programmes, I know that we are in Germany, but our break just after covid. 19 meant that there were limited options in the area. Wifi on the whole good. Food both a breakfast and in the evening excellent. Our arrangement included wine(lots of choice). Breakfast hot and cold buffet, everything fresh and warm /hot as appropriate. Lots of choice and attentive service. Good base from which to explore the area, either by foot, car or cycle. During covid 19, good hygiene, use of hand washes and facemasks, though some older guests seemed to have some difficulty with this. The bowling and bar were not open, but drinks available on the terrace outside. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area
