  STAY CLEAR!!!!! 1* IS GENEROUS!

  Photos looked promising but we left extremely disappointed! Upon arrival we were notified that the bar and restaurant were closed due to COVID-19, this was NOT stated on their website. If wed had known we probably wouldnt of booked. The common room/ lounge area was open the first day we arrived but they decided to close it off, once again blaming it on COVID. The hotel itself is very dated and the rooms are in need of TLC. During our 4 day stay no-one came to clean the rooms or give you fresh towels/toilet roll. The WiFi only worked in the reception hallway if you wanted to do any work or use it you had to sit on the stairs. When asking about hiring a buggy for golf the lady informed us its only for people with underlined health conditions, explaining that my grandad is recovering from a recent heart attack and has heart problems was not sufficient enough. Her reply was Well I havent been informed and still refused. The staff seem comfortable doing the bare minimum and are happy to use Corona virus as an excuse for almost everything. Wont be returning.

  Disappointing

  I was so looking forward to my stay at Welbeck Manor Hotel and after a four hour journey to get there I was looking forward to a drink in the bar followed by a meal in the recommended restaurant. No bar facility, no restaurant facility for evening meals or breakfast and no room service of any kind. Although some of the staff were friendly this was not all staff. We were unable to sit in the lounge. All because of covid 19!? I don't think so. You can go to the local pub for a drink and meal? The hotel was shabby and in desperate need of a lot of TLC. Would I go to stay there again? NO! On the plus side the 9 hole golf course was good if not challenging

  Very Poor - Wouldnt Stay Again

  Stayed at Welbeck Manor for only one night, was very disappointed with our stay, rooms very dated, bathroom in need of a refurb very old and damp smell, bed ok but very uncomfortable mattress, coffee mugs dirty and tv not working. No breakfast included, but it was advised online that breakfast was, bar and restaurant both closed again wasn't told in advanced of booking, if we knew no breakfast, no bar or restaurant then we wouldnt have booked and cancelled but it was to late and couldnt. No staff onsite at all, the golf shop checked us in very quickly. When we found out the TV wasnt working I popped down to reception to speak to someone but no one to be found, but a note saying to call a number in case of a medical emergency only. Very poor, didnt feel safe at all during the whole stay. Will not be returning and isnt worth the money we paid. COVID cant be blamed for this.

  Not That Bad

  I stayed here with trepidation after reading the reviews on here I have to say. However we found the Family Room very comfortable, clean and tidy, the view from the room was just incredible. Very pleasantly surprised. The hotel does need some TLC, but on the whole we enjoyed our stay, and would return again.

  Not good

  No warning of the fact that no food was unavailable. We were staying with our Young kids so Couldnt just pop to the pub as we were instructed to do. The family room is sold as having a side room and it does but there is no door so you have to go to bed at the same time as your babies. There is also no drinking water- there were bottles in the corridor but these are all gone and the reception is shut. We are hungry, thirsty and in bed at 20:00 with the lights off so that our daughter can sleep
