  Beautiful location, requires modernisation

  Room was quirky but very small. Bathroom was tiny with sink located within the bedroom part rather than the shower area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The dining facilities were basic and very tired looking, some money needs to be spent on this. Breakfast was included in the price but was very basic with cold tea/coffee. The best thing about the place is its location. It has beautiful surroundings near a quieter part of West Lake, great for escaping the crowds.

  Beautiful location and friendly staff

  My wife and I stayed here on May 10-13. It is a beautiful calm and charming little hotel on the edge of the lake. They staff were friendly, professional and always keen to help us. Hangzhou is an amazing city full of life and vitality and the hotel is a peaceful oasis only 20 minutes from the city when using the very reasonably priced taxis.

  Small getaway from the city center

  You search for a calm nice place next to the West Lake and it doesn't have to be a star hotel, then that's your place. This small hotel is clean, nice and so quite. We didn't search for something fancy and is was a good choice Its next to the lake not far away from the Wetlands and you really can get around by bike. The rooms are clean, nice and the bed was not too hard. Skip the breakfast, it's really not so good but this place has a very good price.

  A Winning Choice

  A great location and respite from the main West Lake buzz. Very convenient with cheap taxi fares to popular tourist spots. There are some bikes for rental right outside the lobby. As for the accommodation itself, I would suggest getting the bigger room as the price difference is not great. Good hygiene level with all necessary amenities provided. Friendly staff that makes an effort. Breakfast dining space is not sufficient but there are plentiful table spaces out in the open.

  Quiet nice boutique hotel-highly recommended

  Located in the quieter side of west lake on longjing rd (maojiabi area). We took a cab from train station because we reach in the evening and hungry! Cab cost 60yuan (SGD12). Can actually reach by train no 1 and change to bus 27. There are a few buses stop in front of the hotel to go to various different tourist attractions, dont have to worry of the location. Near the entrance, they provide map and bus guide or you can always ask the receptionist, they are helpful. Room itself is spacious, some come with a small balcony with seats facing in the garden. Beautiful!! Laundry machine is available for a fee with detergent provided. Breakfast selection is quite limited but acceptable. They provide free tea break (no cakes or icecream like it said) at the cafe in the afternoon. Bicyles are available for rent, 10yuan per hr. Lake is just behind, you can walk to the more tourist area via the walk path, beautiful beautiful. I love this boutique hotel and definitely recommend to everyone to stay here!
