  a pleasant surprise

  was prepared with minimal expectation when booking based on reviews i read.arrived at night to be greeted by a very friendly staff,who offered us to view the room before checking in.i booked a 3 bedroom suite for my family of 8.the room was good enough.then i was offered to view another 2 bedroom unit (5 single bed + 4 single bed) and given a cheaper rate.upon checking the room,was very satisfied and the reception was happy to change my booking.rooms were clean and spacious,carpet looks new. furniture were functioning well.bathroom are old style,but suffice.hot water was good.there was a mini kitchen but not functioning.hope this will be fixed in the future.housekeeping was by request,i guess.i tip the cleaner sar10 and he was more than happy to clean my room,even came again the next day.they have also installed a new set of elevators,fast and efficient.i had a good stay at this place.walking distance to the mosque (near the men's gate,a bit of walk for female),lots of shops nearby.good job to the friendly staff of the hotel.do remember,this is a 3 star hotel.though i feel the friendliness was even more genuine than another 5 star hotel that i stayed during the same trip.thank you al ansar new palace!

  Terrible!

  Extremely poor service. Staff unhelpful. Bel boy shouted at my 88 year old dad when my dad complained the key card wasnt working. Key cards would deactivate daily which was a nuisance when wanting to get into the room. Bathroom was very basic, tiny and dirty. Shower was always cold with a trickle from the shower head. Breakfast seemed to be leftovers from the night before. Nothing labelled so had no idea of what some of the dishes were. I have nothing nice to say of this hotel. Spend a little more and go elsewhere if you want a better service and atmosphere

  Nice hotel

  Stayed 3 nights for umrah I was very impressed the location is perfect few meters to prophet masjid Rooms in the hotel clean good size the people at the reception very nice and helpful I dont mind booking this hotel next time

  10 day stay at alanasr new palace hotel

  House keeping and service is the worst. Staff lacks honesty. Fresh towels are provided after a lot of calls. Same story with toilet paper and tissue paper. No kettle had to buy my own. Only plus point was the ample number of elevators 7 per hotel block. Water supply was interuppted for more than 3 hours.

  Terrible experience

  The worst accommodation ever (can't even say a hotel). Zero house keeping service, no towels, cold shower water, no daily cleaning service for the rooms. Requested plenty of times towels, toilet papers, fixing the kittle, fixing the safe, but no one even cares. Very poor Wifi. Changed tbe room after 2 days of chasing the operational manager and didn't get any better rooms. The breakfast is not bad, but nothing special about it. The location is acceptable, but you can find plenty other hotels close to Al haram. Bottom line - AVOID AVOID AVOID....
