  Review

  The hotel experience was veey good overall However the room service was slow to respond, we had to tell them two or three times to bring us water . The iron was not burnt and it burned our clothes The staff was friendly but they should learn to speak in english for better communication with all guests because alot guests faced communication problem since staff was not good in speaking english Aala was our reception guy he was very good and professional

  Overall Disappointment

  The location is good but if you are expecting Kaba view than it's not possible due to ongoing conversation work. So don't waste money. The front desk is too lousy and will waste 20 to 30 minutues in confirmation and room allotment. The rooms are very congested with very less space. The washrooms are also very small. The The menu selection of breakfast buffet is very poor. Most of the items are not meant to be served in breakfast. The refilling of dishes is quite slow. The dining space is very congested. Slow WiFi is another sore point.

  Three star and aging very badly

  Aging very very bad Reminds me of the old Makkah hotels before these new ones were built Small rooms Furniture tatty and showing age Tiny bathrooms Smelly and old Rooms barely serviced unless u complained We went in quiet period so access to haram was ok But al bait has morphed from top end to a glorified souk Old Makkah shops now all over which is good One of the worst breakfasts ever Very average and tasteless All in all not even three star Would not stay here again Rather stay at old Makkah Hilton now the milellenium hotel

  Worthy

  Very clean hotel with good facilities and very near and good access .food court also near to its elevator and hyper market also easily accessible to its elevator. Also to mention staff was very courteous.

  Comfortable accomodation, friendly staff

  Location is excellent on the east wing of Hajar tower of Abraj Al Bait. Booking online was easy and cheaper than any other site if you join Rotana membership. There's an option while booking to upgrade for other options for a tiny surcharge. Check in was swift; I was allowed to check in at 11 am. Front desk staff was very cooperative. Room on the 21st floor with Kaaba view. was well furnished, decorated with new styles and apparently new TV screen and others. Bathroom is a bit small and needs some maneuvers to get to the shower , a bit difficult for the elderly with walking stick. Buffet breakfast was a bit limited but offers many choices in the hot bar, cold bar and bakeries. You can enjoy the breakfast in the balcony or veranda overlooking the Haram; weather is marvelous in the open air these days. The WiFi is sometimes slow and interrupted upstairs and needs more attention. Surprisingly, you might pick signal from nearby towers better than their local signal. Another weak point is that only one lift is operating from P11 to P0 (Haram) with many stops in between which makes workers and staff on many commercial floors to use Rihaan labelled lift. It takes very long time to get the lift and reach your destination. Sometimes, it's advisable to use next door lifts of Movenpick residence. Overall, satisfied and will be back
