  A decent hotel

  We stayed 4days at this mid range hotel in Klang. Some of the shops surrounding are vacated and not much activity. The hotel itself has decent facilities for a mid range level hotel. We are surprised that the room size at Level 5 were quite large for the price we paid. It would be good to have a face towel besides the sole bath towel which doubled up as face hand body towel. The pillows were too soft for my liking. Food was Malay style and just so so. The chicken was usually well cooked and flavorful.

  Helpful Staffs

  I really appreciate the staffs who really made sure the dinner party organized to be a memorable one...The price is cheaper than any other places but the service was excellent...Felt comfortable dealing with the management for the event...Thank you very much

  Love the location of the hotel

  The car park is just below the hotel and free. A bit of frustration to the reception since my booking was not in the hotel's record, thus delaying a bit. The room and pool are nice. Near to a bank and other business outlets. They have sauna but not functioning.

  A substantively neglected hotel

  I stayed at Aliya Hotel a couple of time for a couple of nights on weekends, only because its online pictures appeared inviting enough and it was close to where I needed to go. The staff are friendly but, geez, they could learn to smile at least once. On both occasions I sensed the hotel was almost completely empty of guests. Then, when I got to my rooms, I began to understand why. The corridors can be dark-ish, with old carpets. The cleaners don't do a good job, especially bathroom cleanliness (you often find hairs from others guests on the floor from mopping -- disgusting). Apart from that the rooms are fairly large, the bed is comfortable, the airconditioning is nice, shower water pressure is fine though the vanity unit and sink could be cleaner and the walls could do with a fresh lick of paint. Reception is fast if you ring ahead and tell them you're on the way and get all the paperwork ready (same with checking out) and then it is reasonably fast. It's location is ok but the street on which it is located is just about dead -- and rather filthy. Not the hotel's fault but the infinitely lazy local council's. I understand Tabung haji owns the hotel but Tabung Haji is short of funds, thanks to the last kleptomanic Najib Razak regime for milking the Tabung close to barren finances. The hotel desperately needs to be upgraded, not neglected.

  Room service served do not match with menu description

  Ordered 'Deep fried chicken wings half dozen' as stated in the room service menu. However, when served, only three pcs of chicken wings. Don't know what is their definition of half dozen. Or is it the drummets and the tip is counted as two which leads to three pcs as 6 pcs?
