  Perfect location for skiing on the Molltal Glacier

  The hotel is a short walk away from the Glacierbahn taking you up to the glacier. A good choice at breakfast and a nice 5 course dinner if you choose half board. Nothing overly fancy, but a family run hotel with nice food and very friendly staff. WiFi is only available in the lobby, which we really liked because instead of our kids disappearing in their rooms we all had drinks in the lobby together.

  Great stay

  Fantastic little hotel 500 meters from the access to Gletscher Moelltaler. Staff is very helpful and polite, rooms are clean not to big, food was very good so I would recommend a half board since for the price it is well worth. As an additional information hotel has a couple of sauna and small relaxation area which is excellent after a whole day of skiing. Fully recommended for a couple of days.

  Very good hotel

  Very friendly staff. Very good and rich dinner. Very good facilities. Nice location and views. Very peaceful hotel. We arrived the hotel when we finished a very difficult of the Alpe-Adria-Trail and enjoyed the sauna at the spa. it was relaxing. Highly recommended.

  The BEST hotel

  We spent 5 days at this lovely hotel and loved every minute. The hotel is very pretty and clean and tidy, the service is excellent, the rooms are lovely and the food is delicious. Andrea and Gert and all the staff are friendly and professional, and truly go out of there way for their guests. They made sure we always had food that met our special dietary requirements, even though we didn't ask for this. We stayed at the hotel half board, which was an excellent choice. As my 11 year old said: she would like to fold up the hotel and the people and take them all home with us. That really says it all.

  Traditional austrian hotel with Michelin level cuisine

  The hotel is 3 star. What they do not mention is, that those stars are also Michelin stars. Or they should be. The dinner provided with half board is literally like going to 3 Michelin star restaurant. 4 meal dinner is a standard, begins with starter, then soup, main course and desert. It is not only exceptionally tasty, it is also arranged very professionally. Do not expect to loose weight during your stay. As if it wasn't enough, you also have salat bar to combine several kinds of salads (carrot, ginger, cabbage, lettuce, corn, etc) + two already mixed salads - potato and pasta. And bakery. So that was dinner :) For breakfast you have generous buffet with plenty of choices, mostly cold, but boiled eggs are there every day and they are cooked medium, which was great for me. Every other day there were some sausages or fried bacon or they asked you, if you would like some eggs on any kind (fried, omelet, scrambled). If you like great food, you want to be here at least 3 days and have a half board. The rest is standard, nice room with view to the mountains, chair and desk, tv with plenty of mostly German and Austrian channels, nice clean bathroom and separate toilet. Also plenty of storage. But bring the wall adapter multiplier, because there are only limited sockets in the room. I also had a balcony, which was common also for next 2 rooms (mine in the middle), so anyone could go out and look inside. Not the best option, but in winter nobody was going. In summer, this might be a problem. There is elevator in the building, which goes from the heated ski storage area in basement, so very comfortable. I also have to mention staff, because they are very professional, very helpful and very kind :) Generally very nice people and they definitelly made my stay even more pleasant. Not to mention, that if you accidentaly end up on a bus stop 20km away, because ski bus driver did not bother to stop at the hotel, they will promptly organize a taxi, which will bring you home. Thank you for saving me. I can only recommend this place and can't wait to come back again.
