  Good hotel, nice view and good price

  We got a good price and found the hotel to be great value for money. It is located a little in the outskirts of the little village Neustift, but it was only a short walk to the city center where we found restaurants and shops. The room was modern and nicely decorated with a modern bathroom. The room was clean and spacious enough for two persons. It was possible to open a window, so we could enjoy the fresh mountain air. We found the hotel to be modern and nice. There was complementary parking outside the hotel. There is a limited number of parking spaces right outside the hotel, but we observed parking areas only a few minutes walk from the hotel. We did not enjoy any meals in the hotel and can therefor not say anything about the hotel's cousine. We had a enjoyable stay and can truly recommend this hotel.

  Best value for money ever!

  Spent here a few days in December 2013 and absolutely stunned by the great value for money. I have travelled to nearly every ski resort in Austria but have never come across something like this before. The place is run by an elderly lady who is very welcoming. The room and all facilities were neat and super clean. The SPA area is on 5 Star hotel standard. Definitely worth every spent.

  1 Amazing night in Tirol

  My husband and I booked this one night stop over on our trip from Italy to Germany. We picked this place based on the value (summer season we paid approx $80CAN for a small room). We had little to no expectations and we were completely blown away by the surrounding beauty, the hospitality of the owner (note: she only speaks German), and the value for money. They have a full blown wellness spa with different saunas and mineral water from the nearby glacier. We spend the afternoon here relaxing and were so happy to have a rest from our busy travels. The town was a short walk with a few nice restaurants and shops. The prices were a little high, but less than the over priced Salzburg. The room was very clean with a beautiful view of the mountains. The only sound we could hear was the River that runs through the town from the nearby Glacier. The town was hosting a traditional Tirolean show that night at the nearby FreiZeitZentrum. Advertising for this was minimum but we saw it on a large billboard. The show was free, you could purchase beer and drinks from the bar. The 3 piece band of 3 younger guys was amazing and they were joined by a local dance group. We drove to a nearby town for a cable car up the mountains and took the fun summer Rodelbahn down for a small price.The Rodelbahn was 2.5 km and took a good 10mins down, with beautiful views of the mountains, going through the Alpine forests and right through a mountain field of cows. We couldn't have been more happy with our short stay in Tirol and would definitely return for summer relaxation and hiking.

  Clean rooms, but bad service

  This hotels location is very good, only few hundred meters from the center of Neustift. Also room was very clean and good beds and pillows. But the service... we never saw anyone to ask anything and we had to pay your stay by cash!? That's ridiculous. There is a phone in reception you can call the staff, but they don't speak English. And last morning when we still hadn't return the key the cleaning lady came to our room without knocking (9am). We kindly said we are going to take a shower and pack our stuff and then return the key but it only took few minutes and the older owner lady came in!! I can't believe that 9am in the morning it's ok to come and go if customers are still there, half naked.

  Spacious, Well Equipped and Spotlessly Clean!

  Our party took two apartments at the end of March and skied on the Stubai Glacier. A one bedroomed and a two bedroomed apartment. Both apartments were spacious, newly decorated and spotlessly clean. Both had well equipped kitchenettes with plenty of crockery, cutlery, cups, glasses, pans and dishes for us to be able to cook simple meals for 8 people. The beds (including the sofa beds) were very comfortable and the shower was very powerful with lots of hot water. The apartments were serviced every day, which we weren't expecting, and the staff were lovely. The 'wellness' area was nicely decorated and the sauna and steam room were an added bonus. The one bedroom apartment had an amazing bathroom, with its own sauna and sunken bath...a real treat after a day on the slopes. Both apartments had balconies with fantastic views towards the town and the mountains. A beautiful place to enjoy a glass of wine and some nibbles before our evening meal. The location of the apartments is wonderful. Just a few minutes walk to the bars and restaurants in Neustift, close to a supermarket and several ski hire shops, yet far enough away to be peaceful. The drive to the Glacier takes about 15-20 minutes and is very easy either in a car, taxi or ski bus. Snow sure from November to May, we enjoyed sunshine and superb snow conditions for the whole week! There are other ski resorts in the area and there is a cable car right next to the hotel. This would be a fantastic location earlier in the season with a huge variety of ski areas to choose from. Innsbruck is about 25 minutes away by car. I would love to visit in the summer. A river runs past the hotel and there look to be some beautiful walks nearby. If we were to return to the area, I would not think twice before re-booking the Alpenschlossl Apartments....Highly recommended!
