  Great experience

  Basically, I got what I paid for. Room 210 was small but it had everything i needed. Clean bed, a dresser(Needs some lighting. I patiently did my make up in the bathroom where I get adequate lighting.), a coffee table, and cable TV. The bathroom was tiny and relatively clean and Hot water was working. yey! I think the bathroom walls though need to be repainted and the window needs a curtain of some sort because anyone who goes up that ladder construction thing outside could easily see me showering. The staff were all helpful and accommodating. 24-hour security. Right outside, you can flag a jeepney to Ayala and SM. Tricycles are vailable too for short commutes around the area. There's a bakery right in front for immediate hunger alleviation. Fast food joints and dept stores are within walking distance. Very convenient location.

  Decent place to stay near the airport

  The place is cozy and very near the airport. WiFi is fast enough. The staff who helped me were kind enough. Only complaints are that there are no nearby electric outlet near the bed, and the cable TV is limited, but those are very minor.

  Get what you pay for.

  I have stayed in this hotel many times over the last 7 years in a few different rooms and have always found the staff to be very helpful, the rooms clean if a little old and the price reasonable for what you get. The breakfasts are cheap and nice and it is close to the church and 2 small shopping malls and the market. It can get a little noisy at times as it is on a busy street.

  I have visited cebu with my family for reunion in mandaue I stay in Ancestor Pension House for 2 nights with its very convenient location, clean and comfortable accommodations pleasing staff and housekeeping personnel and best of all affordable rates THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

  "B-I-G JOKE"! SAVE YOURSELF! RUN IF YOU CAN! PLEASE! I "B-E-G" YOU!

  I super hate to be negative about any aspect of my life but this is the worst place you can go to! I know my emotions are running like wild horses right now but i JUST CAN'T help it! Sorry NOT sorry at all! We came to the place past 9pm from the airport. Obviously, we're exhausted as before the plane ride, we had more than 2 hours land trip from Caticlan to Kalibo and a boat ride prior to that. So you can imagine we have all our luggage with us! We didn't have any reservation via Agoda or whatever website as we were confident that booking directly in the front desk a.k.a walk-in clients would give us the same price in Agoda (or at least, we're hoping for a discounted price... As coming from Bora, walk-in rates are friendlier than those posted online). The lady in the front desk asked us if we have a reservation. Of course, we said no and we told her that we intended to book directly. We were given the rate of Php1,200. I asked why the prices online seem cheaper compared to the rate she just gave. I told her that I'm just going to book online (I was thinking of Travelbook.ph since it's going to PHP 880 only for deluxe room). The lady's reply did TICK ME OFF when she said "DILI PWEDE" (No, not allowed). And she gave us a LOOK that is UNFIT for a hospitality industry; she looked irritated. We walked out and she didn't even bother to stop us or save herself; she couldn't care less. She just continued whatever she was doing. We've been to different hotels the past 3 weeks we're in Visayas region. None of them treated us that way. It make us wonder where the positive reviews came from. Again, I'm naturally optimistic and enthusiastic, so I wanted to end this review on a positive note. In hindsight, it was a BLESSING in disguise to keep us away from 1) bad staff 2) no lift 3) hot, poorly lit, smelly lounge 4) bad location... And the best part, we ended up in a REAL hotel which gave us their Deluxe Room (good for 4) with a Standard rate. All the Standard room were taken, so they were kind enough to give us the Deluxe for P1480 only (P1880 regular rate) TIP: Don't be fooled by the positive reviews alone. If there's any way you can check the room before you pay, then PLEASE DO so. In Boracay, it's usual to do a "Show room". They won't take it against you.
