  Good price, pretty good location, but didn't meet expectations

  The photos for this apartment are a bit misleading, and with the name "aria" we were expecting 4.5 star like stated, however this looked a bit more like a 3 star apartment. The value for money was great as we paid $50 per person per night. Location was pretty good a short walk to the crown, or to the restaurants along the Yarra river and like a $10 uber into the city. Close to a woolworthes and a bottle shop. However, the apartment it self didn't quite meet expectations as there were scuff marks all over the walls, stains on the couches and floors, the carpet was lifting in spots and there was little hairs on the bed and pillows. We ended up putting a blanket over the couch and had to deal with the beds because it was late when we arrived. In saying that reception did apologise and offer to move us the next day and provided us with free breakfast and late check out which was nice. I just think the apartment needs a deep clean, new carpet and painted walls.

  Weekend in Melbourne

  The apartment was clean and comfortable. Although stated serviced, was a bit hit and miss with the bed making. Views were disappointing however we were there to see the sights of Melbourne so weren't there for the apartment views. On the second night, there was a very rowdy crew in the apartment next door that possibly exceeded the maximum guests per room who partied all night and into the early morning disrupting our sleep. When we complained the next morning, we were pleased to hear that they had been evicted and peace restored. Aria is centrally located to shops and markets and the tram infrastructure is fabulous for getting around the city.

  Very Unique Experience

  Aria Style Southbank was by far my favorite accommodation in all of Australia. It was such a unique experience to have an apartment right in the heart of Melbourne. The apartment was very clean and had absolutely everything that we needed to enjoy our stay there. It was easy to get to and there is a parking garage available to park. The only negative thing I would say about this place is that the parking garage is ridiculously tight. Don't even think about driving a large vehicle in there. But nevertheless, I was still grateful to have somewhere to park. I highly recommend everyone stay here and get this unique experience!

  disappointing

  Location was great but that was about it. Photos on site are not what you get. The floors are so dirty, my white socks are black and had to throw them out. Carpet is stained. The couch was stained.Television did not work. The shower head is no bigger than a 20 cent piece. Light fitting was broken in bedroom. So much for paying extra to get a Premier room. Should have saved my money and got a standard. Truly disappointed.

  Great location does not live up to the photos

  The aria is in a great spot however apartment itself was average and did not match the photos on the booking site. Cleaning was average as well you could see fingerprints on nearly all the surfaces. On arrival we seemed to be also bombarded by unhappy guests as well
