  Consistent Comfort

  Every winter I make a trip to Okoboji and stay at Arrowwood. Every year I have a great experience. The front office rep was lovely in helping me with finding the perfect room, the free breakfast was, as always abundant, and my room was clean and fresh. A must is dinner at Minervas, SO DELICIOUS.

  Had dinner there last. Food was excellent and server was totally awesome. Her name is Becky Hale. I would definitely recommend!! I had the plank salmon. Several of my people had steaks. No one complained about any of the food it was great.

  We were greeted promptly and friendly. Checked in quickly with explanation of services available. Beautiful room with nice view of the golf course. Enjoyed the pools, indoor and outdoor. Everything was very clean! Service excellent!

  Terrific Stay

  I just visited this resort with my 2 children ages 5&10 and it was such an enjoyable visit. So much fun we called the front desk on the morning we were supposed to check out to extend our stay. Staff were helpful and friendly at all times. There is a really good resturaunt called Minerva's in this hotel. The staff at Minerva's were also very welcomoming and helpful with info about the resort in general. The patio outside Minerva's has comfy seating overlooking a gold course. Complimentary Breakfast is not being served right due to COVID. The children's indoor pool (water park )area is so cool and features a seperate pool for babies & toddlers. I was afraid the pools would be packed but staying during the week most of the time we had the pools entirely to ourselves. There is also an outdoor pool. The water in the outdoor pool is much colder than the indoor one. The room was spacious and clean. The only reason I did'nt rate this place excellent was the hot tub was not warm & a few parts of the building looked dated. But would I stay here again?-ABSOLUTELY.

  look elsewhere! last resort id stay at on earth

  Terrible. Until Covid I stayed about 100 nights a year in a hotel for business. This is by far the worst I've ever experienced. The walls are paper thin and they packed us in with loud drunken wedding parties on each side. We could not sleep and both nights the front desk did nothing about it. There's no room service or maid service "because of covid" which is actually a cost cutting maneuver because many other hotels and resorts have found safe ways to do this. Speaking of safety, our room did not lock. The door did not fit into the frame and only did when it was slammed. The bolt was not aligned to the hole so we were forced to sleep in a room with an unlocked door. Of course one of the drunks from the wedding thought our room was his and walked in at 4am waking up our small child. Our room smelled like mold. I could go on and on. This place is an embarrassment to Okaboji and the state of Iowa. Nothing even close to the standard of service at their Alexandria location. Overpriced dump! Iowans beware!
