  Great little place for kids

  We went out to Litchfield for a day trip and stopped at the Butterfly Farm for about an hour or two. Kids had a great time wondering through and seeing all the animals. They loved being able to feed carrots to the animals and get up close to them.

  Lovely place

  Went there a couple times in the past few months. The animal were always lovely and kids had great fun there. Quite and relaxing place. Staff are friendly. Nice homemade food and veggies. Love the salads.

  Lovely place to stay

  My partner and I stayed here with our baby for a few nights. Chris and Angel were amazing hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Chris was very accommodating to any requests we had and offered us a room that was easy to access with good amenities. Queer friendly.

  Fawlty Towers in the Top End

  The room was clean, the pool was refreshing....and tgat s about it fir the positives. Meals dry and tasteless - lasagne and a chicken stirfy @ $28 bucks each. My other half is a biologist and that's partly why we went there. Spoke to the owner and said hed be happy to take us for a 'tour' next morning at 830. Got up for brekky at 730 as advertised...no staff appeared til 845. Packed up room and said goodbye to the bloke next door who 'sarted drinking breakfast at 7' and was already on his 3rd beer. Owner wanders out at 915am just as we were checking out. We thanked him for the tour that never was. His reply "What time is it now?" No apology, not even a fake one. Don't waste your time or money - spend it where it's appreciated.

  Nice overnight stay

  A private and comfortable overnight stay. Its quite eclectic with a touch of orient meets tree of life (for those of you that know the store)Rooms were clean and individually themed. The animal farm it self is closed at the moment due to Covid which is fairly normal these days, The butterflies can still be viewed but unfortunately we were short of time. My only recommendation is that they splash out on some new towels, the one supplied to us were quite thin and well past there use by date. Otherwise no complaints.
